With the adjustment of industrial structure, the original brilliant industrial areas have become abandoned architectural sites that hinder the development of modern cities.Due to the need for production purposes, most industrial buildings have solid structures and wide indoor space, which have become a functional alternative advantage. The spatial transformation of industrial sites is based on the concept of regenerative design. The adaptive transformation of industrial site space is a process of redesign, which coordinates and merges the contradiction between the old and the new with the architectural space, and further integrates perfectly with the needs of art exhibition space. This renovation takes the B2 workshop of Qingdao Guomian No.6Factory as the renovation space, allowing the building to grow "new" cultural content on the basis of "old",achieving functional changes and transformation. At the same time,it is the preservation and development of the spirit of industrial sites, the process of "rejuvenation" of old buildings, and the process of regenerative design.Summarize the general principles of industrial heritage space design under the concept of regenerative design: the principle of "new and old" synchronicity, the principle of functional replacement, the principle of sustainable development, and the principle of integrity.According to the architectural space expansion strategy and the art exhibition space reconstruction strategy,Lighting strategy grasp the regeneration space image and achieve reasonable revitalization.Industrial sites are planned and reshaped to conform to the development of the times.Regenerative design combines the oriental aesthetic concepts of "inter" and "plain" to conduct reasonable layout and design planning for the space, and explores the application of "inter" and "plain" oriental aesthetic concepts in art exhibition spaces.Deeply explore how "inter" can be applied and expressed in space, and form an attractive oriental aesthetics through refined modeling and decorative forms that leave viewers endless reverie.Integrate "plain" into the design of art museums, grasp the characteristics of its pure colors and authentic materials, summarize and deepen the principles and needs of transforming industrial site space into art exhibition space, and explore the rationality and feasibility of integrating the two aesthetic principles and space. The industrial site space has been reasonably activated and protected, and its historical, economic, cultural, and humanistic values have been realized.
