With the scarcity of oil resources and the deepening implementation of green environmental protection concepts,energy and environmental issues are receiving increasing attention from people.In cities,fuel powered vehicles are the main means of transportation,and they are the main cause of energy consumption and environmental pollution.In this situation,new energy vehicles have developed rapidly.In electric vehicles,extended range electric vehicles combine the advantages of both electric and fuel powered vehicles,and will become a research hotspot in the field of new energy.This article takes a beach car as the object,and based on the performance requirements of the extended range electric vehicle,parameter matching and selection of the main components of the power system are carried out.A vehicle model is established in AVL Cruise software,and power performance simulation is conducted to verify the matching results.On this basis,the control strategy based on the extended range electric vehicle is formulated,and on this basis,the hardware and software design of the range extender control system is carried out.Based on STM32VET6 single chip microcomputer,the controller of the range extender control system is developed and designed.Simultaneously designed multi-point control strategy and power following control strategy.In order to verify the control strategy and the control performance of the controller,I conducted experimental verification using a complete vehicle.The experimental results show that the controller of the range extender control system has good stability,and the deviation between the simulation results of the control strategy and the experimental results is 29.8%,which indicates that the simulation results have high accuracy.Whether driving on horizontal roads or roads with a slope of 3%,the multi-point control strategy significantly reduces fuel consumption compared to the power following control strategy.
