Chongqing Vehicle Remote Check System Design And Implementation

With the rapid increase of motor vehicles, motor vehicle safety inspection is becoming more and more important. Traditional operational mode of vehicle safety and technical inspection has been unable to adapt to the rapid development of operational situation. With the computer and related technology development, it has become a viable motor vehicle safety detection mode to build vehicle remote assurance system. To promote the city "safe Chongqing" construction, to implement the Vehicle Administration’s "Benefit the Public" effective measures, to improve informatization level of vehicle management, with Chongqing motor vehicle safety inspection status the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau Traffic Authority started the project of the "Chongqing Vehicle Remote assurance system" in2011, according to the current situation Chongqing motor vehicle safety inspection.Base upon studies at home and abroad as well as the specific characteristics of detection of Chongqing and "Chongqing Vehicle Remote assurance system" project, this paper introduced the vehicle remote assurance system design goals, motor vehicle safety testing standards, the system hardware and software structure, function and so on. This paper also elaborates the whole process of motor vehicle remote assurance system design and implementation, which achieves the functions of vehicle remote detection, network security isolation platform for data exchange, remote production of licenses etc. With the successful application of vehicle remote detection system, we can improve vehicle safety and technical level of detection, simplify motor vehicle testing process, improve operating efficiency of Vehicle Administration, and improve the working environment for the vehicle testing police, so as to achieve the technical supervision for the whole process of vehicle safety technology testing, and to enable the paradigm shift of the vehicle inspection from decentralized to centralized, and to save police resources to benefit the public.
