As an important transportation infrastructure,the large railway hub undertakes the function of integrating various transportation resources,and shoulders the heavy burden of connecting the city’s external and internal transportation.The construction of the hub has the characteristics of large scale,long cycle,and wide influence,which leads to a large negative impact on the transportation organization in the hub area.In order to ensure the traffic travel quality of the hub area,it is necessary to optimize the traffic organization of the hub area.How to reasonably plan the construction sequence during the construction period,optimize the traffic organization scheme,and avoid traffic congestion will become a problem,which the construction of large railway hubs cannot be ignored.This paper takes the construction period of the large railway hub as the research period,and takes the traffic organization of the large railway hub area as the research object.First,it studies the traffic demand characteristics during the construction period of the large railway hub,and takes Nanjing North Railway Station as an example to analyze its construction project overview,traffic environment on the road,public transportation environment and traffic operation conditions.Which provide the basis for the optimization of the traffic organization scheme during the construction period of the hub.Secondly,analyze the traffic organization scheme during the construction period,study the goals,principles and measures of road traffic organization and management,carry out specific analysis on the traffic organization scheme of Nanjing North Railway Station hub area from road construction,intra and through traffic,and then summarize the impact of project construction on traffic operation conditions.Then,the construction principles of the traffic organization scheme evaluation system during the construction period are studied.Based on the analysis results of the traffic demand characteristics and the traffic organization scheme during the construction period of the large railway hub,the evaluation system of the traffic organization scheme during the construction period of the large railway hub is constructed from three aspects: the coordination of the regional road network,the smoothness of the regional road network and the rationality of the organization scheme.Determine the weight of the evaluation indicators in combination with the analytic hierarchy process,and clarify the flow of the evaluation method for the traffic organization scheme.Finally,the optimization ideas of the traffic organization scheme are sorted out,and the quantitative evaluation and optimization of the traffic organization scheme during the construction period of the hub is realized by using the method of traffic simulation.Combined with the engineering practice of Nanjing North Railway Station,the evaluation system constructed is used to verify the optimization effect of its traffic organization scheme.The results show that the optimized traffic organization scheme in the hub area can significantly improve the service level of road traffic,with strong feasibility,and achieve the purpose of ensuring efficient and smooth roads during the construction period and safe and ordered traffic organization.The research in this paper can provide theoretical and practical experience for the construction and reconstruction of large railway hub areas in other cities in China.
