With the promotion of rural revitalization, rural residents have turned their attention to the living environment from having enough to eat.Due to the increasing age of rural old houses in mountainous areas of Chongqing, the housing structure is gradually aging, and the safety risks of rural old houses are more prominent. In order to reduce the threat of housing safety to the life and property safety of rural residents,it is necessary to continuously accelerate the practice of safety risk management of rural old houses in mountainous areas of Chongqing. Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the safety risk assessment of the use of rural old houses in mountainous areas of Chongqing and deeply explore the relevant evaluation methods and measures related to rural housing. This paper aims to provide scientific methods and useful references for the safety management of rural old houses in mountainous areas of Chongqing.Managers and users can grasp the safety risk status of houses in time, and take effective measures timely to reduce the probability of rural housing safety accidents,so as to ensure the safety of people’s lives and property and promote social harmony and stability. In order to achieve the above purpose, the main research logic of this paper is as follows:Firstly, through the definition of the related concepts of old houses and risk in mountainous rural areas and the discussion and analysis of the important theories involved in the research of this paper, this paper establishes an important theoretical foundation for the identification of risk factors, the construction of indicators and the research of evaluation methods in the following paper.Secondly, through sort the current situation of safety risk evaluation at home and abroad, this part summarizes the main factors that affecting the safety risk of rural old houses in mountainous areas of Chongqing by combing with the actual situation of rural areas in mountainous areas of Chongqing, and using the methods of field research, literature research and case analysis,so as to draw up a safety risk list.Thirdly, based on the proposed safety risk list, the risk list is screened by Delphi method, and the four dimensions including house characteristics, mountain environment, use status and residents’ status, which are selected as the evaluation indicators of primary indicators and a total of 22 secondary indicators. At the same time, the weight of indicators at all levels is designed to build a relatively perfect safety risk evaluation index system of rural old houses in mountainous areas of Chongqing. The last but not the least, based on the safety risk evaluation index system and the comparison and selection of old house safety risk evaluation methods,it is finally determined to construct the safety risk evaluation model of rural old houses in mountainous areas of Chongqing by combining fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method with network analytic hierarchy process(ANP).In the fifth part,a case study of Kangying village of Qinglong Town, that is located in the Fengjie County of Chongqing as an example, the paper makes an empirical analysis on the safety situation of the case by using the above risk evaluation index system and safety risk evaluation model of rural old houses in mountainous areas. The research results show that the safety risk evaluation method index system and evaluation model constructed in this paper are feasible and effective. This paper systematically studies the safety risk assessment of rural old houses in mountainous areas of Chongqing, widens the research dimension of rural old house safety, and supplements the relevant theories. At the same time, the evaluation method provided in this paper also has a certain reference value for the safety risk evaluation and management of rural old houses in other mountainous areas.
