Research On The Impact Of Craftsman Spirit On Economic Growth Of Construction Industry Based On Provincial Data

At the national "two sessions" in 2016,the "craftsman spirit" appeared in the government work report for the first time.Since then,the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the report of the 19th CPC National Congress also stressed the need to carry forward the "craftsman spirit",reflecting the important policy position of craftsman spirit.As an important part of national economy,construction industry is the stabilizer and ballast of national development.However,in recent years,the construction industry is facing many problems,such as the low overall quality of the labor force,the lack of innovation and research spirit,and the transformation and upgrading of the industry is facing great challenges,and the craftsman spirit is the key to solve the above problems.Based on this,this paper takes the construction industry as the research object,combined with empirical analysis of the impact of craftsman spirit on the economic growth of the construction industry and regional differences,in order to promote the transformation and upgrading and high-quality development of the construction industry.Firstly,this paper refers to the relevant research materials such as craftsman spirit,economic growth of construction industry,the relationship between human capital and economic growth,combs and comments on the research status and limitations at home and abroad,and constructs the conceptual model of this paper based on the theories of human capital and economic growth.Secondly,by describing the development trend and calculating statistical indicators,this paper analyzes the temporal and spatial differences of China’s construction industry economic growth in recent years,combined with the existing research and the development characteristics of the construction industry,constructs a comprehensive measurement system of the craftsman spirit of the construction industry,quantifies the craftsman spirit of the construction industry through the time-serial generalization principal component analysis method,and carries out vertical and horizontal analysis.Finally,Based on the relevant data of construction industry in 30 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)(excluding Tibet)in China from 2011 to 2018,a panel data model is established to empirically test the impact of craftsman spirit in the construction industry on industrial economic growth,and explore the regional heterogeneity of the impact through the comparative analysis of the eastern,central and western regions.The results show that:(1)the overall economy of construction industry shows a growth trend and the growth rate slows down,the total growth and growth benefits show the law of gradient decline in the East,the middle and the west,and there is no great difference in growth mode and growth rate between regions;(2)The craftsman spirit of the construction industry as a whole is increasing year by year.There are great differences in the craftsman spirit of the regional construction industry,showing the law of gradient decline between the east and the west;(3)The promotion effect of craftsman spirit on the economic growth of China’s construction industry has significant regional heterogeneity.The promotion effect of the central region is the most obvious,followed by the east and the west.The central region is in the stage of development,and its promotion effect is stronger than that of the whole country and the eastern and western regions.The eastern region has a good industrial foundation and mature construction economy.The marginal effect of craftsman spirit is small.The western region is limited by its resources and economic development,and its promotion effect is weak.Based on the above empirical research results,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from five perspectives:advocating the craftsman spirit and improving the quality management system.
