Research On Village Landscape Planning Design Based On Resilience Theory

Under the rural revitalization strategy,rural development has been elevated to a strategic priority.However,with the global climate change,frequent extreme weather,urbanization expansion,economic and population decline,and changing natural and man-made conditions such as reduced biodiversity and increased vulnerability to natural disasters,traditional rural ecosystems have become fragile and unable to cope with these complex challenges.As a result,targeted village landscape planning and design are urgently needed for the modern transformation of rural areas.Resilience is an important design concept for complex systems to respond to environmental changes.The concept of resilience landscape provides a new solution for addressing the above-mentioned challenges.This research project takes Guangdong’s Longzhen,Shuangtian,and Xin Cun as examples,combining knowledge from disciplines such as human settlement environment,urban and rural planning,and resilience theory to explore optimization design strategies for village landscape planning and design based on resilience theory.Following the research path of "theoretical sorting,correlation exploration,optimization design system,and planning and design strategy construction," the research team built a design framework and proposed the "repair,governance,and development" method for the construction strategy of "resilience-based village landscape planning and design" to improve the village space adaptation and transformation ability and increase the resilience level of the village space structure.The paper consists of seven chapters.The first four chapters are the theoretical foundation research part of the project,including the research background,purpose,significance,content and method,research framework,relevant domestic and foreign research,relevant theoretical foundation research,and case analysis.Chapter five established the planning and design goals of the entire project based on theoretical research,and combined with design practice to establish a planning and design strategy that emphasizes dynamic adaptability,targeted measures,sustainable development,humanistic spirit,the construction of basic infrastructure that supports natural restoration,and the restoration of a resilient landscape.Chapter six provided strong practical support for the theoretical research by conducting project design practices in Guangdong’s Longzhen,Shuangtian,and Xin Cun.Chapter seven elaborated on the research conclusions and innovations of the paper,summarized and analyzed the shortcomings of the paper,and put forward the prospect of resilience theory in village landscape planning and design in the future.The project research,on the theoretical level,based on resilience theory,establishes the correlation between the demand elements of village landscape planning and design and the resilience state,proposing the strategy of "resilient villages." On the practical level,the project constructed the building strategies and methods of rural human settlement environment in the dimensions of repair,governance,and development from the perspective of resilience theory.The application of resilience theory in village landscape planning and design under the background of "rural revitalization" has certain research value and practical significance for traditional rural areas to cope with various uncertain risks and achieve sustainable development.
