The Anti Japanese War is one of the most important historical events in modern Chinese history, leaving behind countless cultural heritage resources.Among them, the former site of the Zhanggongling Ring Mountain fortification complex located on Zhanggongling,Liuzhou City,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is also a very important heritage resource of the Anti Japanese War.It belongs to the former site of the Liuzhou City Defense Works and was approved by the State Council as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units in 2013.It was built in1933 and records the construction of the anti Japanese military and civilians in Liuzhou to resist Japanese aggression. The site contains a large number of military facilities such as bunkers, tunnels, and trenches, which is of great significance and role in studying the culture of the Anti Japanese War site.In order to better protect and inherit the cultural heritage of the Anti Japanese War,the author adopted the design and research of a site park on the former site of the Zhanggongling Ring Mountain Works Group to protect the anti Japanese War site relics and better regenerate and create the site.Immersive experience is an emerging way of experience that has emerged in the context of rapid technological development. Its development speed is so fast that it has covered various fields, with the most prominent being the tourism and exhibition industries, which have rapidly formed a certain industrial scale. In order to improve the dissemination of the Anti Japanese War culture and promote patriotism, this article integrates immersive experience into the design and research of the Anti Japanese War Site Park,Explore the feasibility of immersive experience design in the Anti Japanese War Site Park.First of all, this design adopts the field research method in the early stage.First,it conducts a general survey of the historical background, specific location, site protection, site status, and surrounding environment of the former site of Zhanggongling Huanshan Group, collects data, collates the survey results, and analyzes the data.Secondly, raise questions based on the results of the preliminary investigation, and then search for literature and example materials to analyze the application form of immersive experience in the design of the Anti Japanese War Site Park.By utilizing interdisciplinary methods such as history, cultural relic protection, museum studies, and cultural heritage studies,we collect and search for information to obtain theoretical support for designing research plans. Finally, based on the results of the previous analysis,a specific plan design will be carried out to showcase the cultural heritage of the Anti Japanese War sites through an immersive experience. In outdoor scenes, incorporate elements of the Anti Japanese War into the landscape design to narrate the history of the war.In indoor settings, set up an experience hall to integrate AR technology into the narrative experience of the Anti Japanese War culture.Enable tourists to deeply experience the scenes of the Anti Japanese War,understand the anti Japanese culture of Liuzhou, enhance their cultural knowledge, enhance the historical and cultural heritage of the city, develop the cultural and tourism industry, promote red culture, and inherit the spirit of patriotism.
