With the continuous development of cultural sites and urban cultural construction, public awareness and participation in site protection has gradually increased, how to coordinate the relationship between site protection and revitalization, and the integration of sites into the modern social environment has received more and more attention, and site parks have gradually become the main mode for site protection and revitalization in China. However,at present,China’s site parks are facing many problems such as conflicting site protection and urban development, insufficient cultural characteristics, insufficient interaction with people, and single function, which lead to the failure to effectively play the historical and cultural values of the sites and science education,so how to use the relevant means of site protection and revitalization for the construction of site parks in the new era has become a subject of urgent research. This paper firstly presents the background of research on site parks, summarizes the current situation of research on site conservation and revitalization and site parks at home and abroad using visualization software such as VOSviewer, then summarizes the content and methods of this research, and presents the innovation points of this research from both theoretical and practical aspects.Secondly,we analyze the concepts of cultural heritage, site value and site park, explore the correlation between site protection and revitalization based on the theory of site protection and revitalization, clarify the relationship and key points of site protection and revitalization, and select four excellent cases of site parks at home and abroad to analyze the cases from the perspectives of site protection and revitalization,so as to provide reference for the subsequent proposal of site protection and revitalization in the perspective of site The case studies provide references for the subsequent design principles and strategies of site parks from the perspective of site conservation and revitalization.Based on the above theoretical research and case studies, the design principles and design strategies for site protection and revitalization of site parks are summarized, taking the principles of conservation priority, value readability, comprehensive coordination, public participation, and sustainable development as design premises, and proposing five design strategies, including building display systems, creating cultural spaces, focusing on public participation, promoting functional complexes, and promoting regional symbiosis.A balanced mechanism of site protection and revitalization is derived. Finally, based on the above summarized site park design principles and design strategies, the landscape design of Xuzhou Jingshan Bridge Site Park is carried out from five perspectives: restoring the original appearance of the site, inheriting the site culture, enhancing the site experience, expanding the functional needs, and facilitating the integration of the site,in order to verify the rationality of the above site protection and revitalization design principles and design strategies. Finally, through the design method and concrete presentation of Xuzhou Jingshan Bridge Heritage Park, the distance between the public and history is brought closer, and the maximum value of the site is brought into play by rich means of site protection and revitalization, which also provides a reference for future landscape design of the site park and explores the road of site park construction with Chinese characteristics.
