| With the development of social networks and e-commerce,the express delivery industry has gradually entered every household and become a part closely related to people’s lives.Especially in the context of the continuous ravaging of the epidemic, the express delivery industry has become the mainstream channel for commodity sales, playing an important role in maintaining the vitality of economic development. The central region is not only the grain-producing area of China, but also undertakes the major mission of the industrial gradient transfer and economic rise of the eastern region. In order to smooth commodity circulation channels and weaken the impact of the epidemic, scientific and reasonable planning of express outlets is imperative, but before that, the spatial distribution characteristics of express outlets and their influencing factors should be clear. Therefore, this paper takes the central region as the research area and the express outlets in the central region provided by the autonavi map development platform in 2020 as samples to conduct research on the above issues.Firstly,it expounds the overall situation of the central region and the development status of the express industry.Secondly, gini coefficient, geographic concentration index and kernel density analysis were used to analyze the spatial distribution of multi-scale express outlets in the study area as a whole,in provinces and cities. Finally, the paper explores the influencing factors of the spatial distribution of express outlets in central China, and finally draws inspiration from the distribution of express outlets. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)From the overall point of view, the distribution of the number of express outlets in the six provinces in central China shows a trend of decreasing from the central to the north. Its overall characteristics are uneven spatial distribution and obvious agglomeration characteristics, forming a high-density area with the central and northern and central regions as the core. From the perspective of north and south, the distribution of express outlets in the northern and southern regions is more dispersed, but the concentration degree in the northern region is higher than that in the southern region. From the east-west perspective, the number of express outlets in the eastern region is significantly higher than that in the western region, and the degree of agglomeration in the eastern region is higher than that in the western region.(2)From the provincial scale, the spatial distribution characteristics of express outlets in the six central provinces have their own characteristics.First,in terms of quantity, the number of express outlets in Henan province and Hubei Province is the largest, accounting for half of the total number of express outlets in the six provinces. The number of express outlets in Anhui province is higher than that in Hunan Province, but the distribution density is lower than that in Hunan Province.Shanxi Province and Jiangxi province express outlets total gap is small, the level is similar.Secondly,in terms of balance, the spatial distribution of express outlets in Henan province and Hubei Province is extremely uneven and highly concentrated. In Shanxi,Anhui and Jiangxi, the spatial distribution of express outlets is relatively unbalanced. The Gini coefficient of Hunan province is 0.25,and its spatial distribution is relatively balanced. Finally,in terms of integration,Henan and the spatial distribution of the two provinces of Jiangxi province express outlets are arranged in the north than the south, but express the spread of the network effect is more significant,in Henan province in the north of the formation of the trend of the development of the continuous, agglomeration effect is remarkable, and Jiangxi province express network spatial agglomeration level is relatively low, spreading diffusion range is smaller; The spatial distribution of express outlets in Hubei and Hunan mainly forms a trend of "high in the east and low in the west",but the clustering degree of express outlets in Hubei is the highest and the radiation range is the widest. There is only one kernel density high value agglomeration area with Taiyuan as the core in Shanxi Province, and the spatial distribution is "higher in the south than in the north",and a long and narrow agglomeration distribution belt is formed with Taiyuan as the center.Express outlets in Anhui province form a "northwest-southeast" agglomeration belt, the diffusion linkage range is relatively large, agglomeration effect is significant.(3)From the perspective of city scale, there is little difference in the development of express outlets between cities and cities. In terms of quantity, the spatial distribution of express outlets presents a core-edge feature.Among them, the number of express outlets in 6 provincial capitals ranks the top, which is much higher than that in other cities, showing the polarization distribution trend of more express outlets in core cities and less in peripheral cities. In terms of balance, there is little difference in the spatial distribution of express outlets among cities in central China, which is mainly reflected in the uneven spatial distribution of 41.38% of the express outlets in prefecture-level cities in central China. There is a large gap in the distribution on the whole and within the province, and the spatial distribution is significantly uneven. However, from the perspective of the inner city, there is little difference in the spatial distribution of express outlets. In terms of agglomeration, the spatial agglomeration degree of express outlets in all cities gradually decreases to the peripheral areas with government residence as the core.In addition, express outlets in six provincial capitals have the highest spatial agglomeration degree, the widest radiation range and significant spatial agglomeration, which fully shows the strong attraction of economic market.(4)From the perspective of the factors affecting the spatial distribution of express outlets in the six provinces of central China, geographical environment and consumer market are the main factors promoting the development of express industry. There are various reasons affecting the spatial distribution of express delivery outlets, but the locations of their spatial distribution prefer to be low altitude, slow slope, close to the main road, high per capita disposable income and per capita total retail sales of social consumer goods, good industrial output value, large population and high level of information. It shows that the advantages of geographical environment and market development can bring forward impetus for the development of express industry. Finally, based on the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors, combined with the problems of uneven spatial distribution, low service level and limited service scope of express outlets, optimization strategies are provided for the distribution of express outlets in six central provinces. |
