| The intersection is the bottleneck of the urban road,and it is also the high-frequency area where accidents occur.Because of its special traffic flow direction,vehicles will pass through the change of speed and the emergence of the phenomenon of stopping,the interweaving of traffic flows in different directions creates various conflict zones.Starting from the field of traffic control,this paper considers how,on the basis of the existing traffic roads,it is possible to adopt a reasonable traffic organization method,to make the best use of the space layout and signal control of the intersection to solve the problem of vehicle congestion,using low-cost,high-efficiency methods to ease the smooth passage of vehicles,so as to improve the road traffic conditions.This paper mainly studies the design of a new traffic organization mode,the channelization design,the signal control and the characteristics of vehicle transportation.First of all,it discusses the principles,methods,advantages and disadvantages of setting up the direct line waiting area from the theoretical level,and sums up the existing ways of setting up the direct line waiting area,then,from the aspect of signal control,the change of signal timing produced by setting up the zone is analyzed theoretically,this paper focuses on the study of the relationship between the direct running waiting area and the phase sequence,and then analyzes the operation characteristics of the vehicles in the direct running waiting area,this paper makes qualitative judgment and Quantitative analysis from three aspects of vehicle capacity,parking frequency and delay,and finally selects an actual intersection and an actual trunk line for case analysis,in order to find the best way for the intersection and the trunk line to set up the different types of the straight waiting area,the experiments were carried out.The results show that the setting of the zone can improve the traffic condition to a certain extent,but not all directions of the intersection are suitable for setting the zone,it is not suitable for all intersections to set up a straight-line waiting area,which needs to be analyzed according to the actual situation of the road. |
