Under the background of the steady progress of China’s urbanization process,the traffic demand between the central area of big cities and surrounding urban clusters is gradually increasing.As an important part of the rail transit network,suburban railway is positioned to serve the regular passenger flow between the central area of the city and the surrounding groups.Its construction,opening and operation play a good role in strengthening the connection between urban groups,meeting the travel needs of suburban passenger flow and alleviating urban traffic congestion.At present,the development orientation of suburban railway in China is not clear.Therefore,in order to give better play to the advantages of suburban railway,this paper studies the setting of station spacing in the planning stage of suburban railway and the formulation of train operation scheme in the operation stage.The specific contents are as follows:Firstly,the concept and function orientation of suburban railway are introduced,and the technical characteristics and passenger flow characteristics of suburban railway are described in detail.Next,the main problems in the process of suburban railway planning and operation are analyzed in detail.Two methods are used to study the spacing of suburban railway stations.First,considering the interaction between train speed and station spacing,the reasonable value range of station spacing under different operating speeds is calculated by analyzing the operating conditions of trains in the interval between stations.Second,considering the interests of passengers and suburban railway operators,and aiming at minimizing the comprehensive cost of passengers and enterprises,a station spacing model is established.For the problem of suburban train operation scheme,considering the competitive relationship between suburban railway and public transportation,a bilevel programming model of train operation scheme based on elastic demand is established.The upper layer model aims at maximizing the income of suburban railway operation enterprises,and makes decisions on the parking scheme and departure frequency of different kinds of trains.The lower level model aims at minimizing the total travel cost of passengers and allocates passenger flow according to the operation scheme.Then genetic algorithm and MSA algorithm are designed to solve the bilevel programming model.Finally,an example is selected to verify the station spacing and operation scheme model established in this paper.Firstly,taking the S3 line of Wenzhou suburban railway as the research object,it is obtained that the optimal station spacing of the line is 3.295 km.Then,the train operation scheme of S2 line of Wenzhou suburban railway is optimized,and the optimized scheme is compared with the station stop scheme.The results show that the optimized scheme can improve the ticket income of suburban railway operation enterprises,reduce the operation cost,and increase the operation income of enterprises by 13.9% as a whole,which verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the model.
