With the development of new energy vehicles, the recycling of waste power batteries has become a factor that must be considered in the production decision-making of automobile manufacturers. Both the dual credit policy implemented and the recycling subsidy policy will affect the supply chain to varying degrees. How to adjust the production plan to external policies is vital. In addition, there are different recycling channels for power batteries, which are simply divided into NEV manufacturer recycling channels and EVB manufacturer recycling channels.Under different consumers’ environmental awareness, how to choose recycling channels also needs to be studied. To sum up,considering consumer environmental awareness and battery recycling channels, this paper establishes a closed-loop supply chain model composed of single-power battery manufacturers, two types of automobile manufacturers and consumers. The main contents of dissertation are as followed:Firstly, the production and pricing decisions of the supply chain were studied under the recycling subsidy policy and the dual credit policy. In this paper,Stackelberg game theory was used to solve decision problems under single and complex policies. Also, the decision variables under different policies of the same recycling channel were compared to explore the prerequisite for the effective implementation of policies. It is found that the production decision of NEV enterprises and the pricing decision of EVB manufacturers are not affected by the credit price, which is innovative and instructive.EVB manufacturers do not need to consider the factor of credit price when making actual production and pricing decisions.Secondly, the production and pricing decisions were studied under the mixed policy model, and the policy crossover effect was analyzed by analytical method during the overlap. It is found that two policies have cross effects on corporate profits, but none on production and pricing decisions.Compared with the single policy, the mixed one requires more fiscal expenditure, while brings out more competitiveness for NEV enterprises compared with traditional ones.In addition, the increase of recycling subsidies will reduce the profits of the overall supply chain under low environmental awareness. Therefore, raising consumer environmental awareness should take precedence over implementing recycling subsidy policies. Finally, the recycling channel selection was studied from three perspectives, which were the enterprise, government and consumers.Parameters were reasonably assumed based on real data, and the results were compared respectively from the perspectives of corporate profit, social welfare and consumer surplus maximization through numerical analysis. It is found that under the dual credit policy, enterprises are more inclined to choose the recycling channel of NEV enterprises,as well as consumers. From the perspective of total social welfare, regardless of the level of consumers’ environmental awareness, the total social welfare of the dual credit policy is always higher than that of the recycling subsidy policy, except for the case that the subsidy amount is too low.In a word, the government should give priority to implementing the dual credit policy, and promote NEV enterprises to assume the main responsibility of recycling, avoiding the occurrence of negative social welfare in total.
