The 14 th Five Year Plan emphasizes the development of green buildings.Environmental pollution and resource consumption issues are important obstacles to the high-quality development of the construction industry. The rapid development of the construction industry also brings huge environmental problems.Building a green supply chain and improving enterprise environmental performance are important parts of the green transformation of the construction industry. The dynamic capability of the supply chain is the ability system for enterprises in the supply chain to quickly respond to the dynamic changes in the external environment by integrating, acquiring, and reconstructing internal and external resources, thereby improving their own efficiency. In the context of the green transformation of the construction industry, the dynamic capability of the supply chain is a necessary condition for construction enterprises to adapt to the complex external environment during the industry transformation period. Therefore, this article will explore how supply chain dynamic capabilities affect the environmental performance of construction industry enterprises. This study focuses on the improvement of environmental performance of construction industry enterprises.Firstly,a systematic analysis is conducted on the dynamic capabilities, environmental performance, and value co creation of domestic and foreign literature supply chains.Combined with the current industry situation, the characteristics of environmental performance of construction industry enterprises are analyzed.Based on the resource-based view theory and value co creation theory,a systematic analysis is conducted on the dynamic capabilities, environmental performance, and value co creation of the supply chain,Propose research hypotheses on the interaction between variables, and ultimately construct a theoretical model with supply chain dynamic capacity as the independent variable, environmental performance of construction enterprises as the dependent variable, value co creation as the intermediary variable, and environmental regulation as the moderating variable.Secondly,a measurement scale was constructed based on the research variables, and empirical research was conducted on some construction industry enterprises through a questionnaire survey.Structural equation models were used to process the data and test the theoretical model and proposed research hypotheses of the impact of supply chain dynamic capabilities on the environmental performance of construction industry enterprises. Not only did it verify the direct relationship between the dynamic capabilities of the supply chain and the environmental performance of construction enterprises, but it also verified the mediating role of value co creation between the two and the regulatory role of environmental regulations. The empirical analysis results indicate that there is a positive relationship between the four dimensions of supply chain dynamic capability and the environmental performance of construction enterprises, and value co creation plays a mediating role between the two.At the same time, environmental regulations positively regulate the impact of supply chain dynamic capability on the environmental performance of construction enterprises. This study extends the environmental performance issue of construction enterprises from a single enterprise to the supply chain, breaking through the thinking mode of green governance led by core construction units, exploring environmental performance improvement models that are generally suitable for enterprises in the construction supply chain, and based on empirical results, providing suggestions for environmental performance improvement efforts in the green transformation process of construction enterprises.
