Xunhua County,Qinghai Province,is located in the core area of multi-ethnic settlements in northwest China.It is a melting pot of diverse ethnic cultures and a heartland for long-term exchanges and exchanges among various ethnic groups.With the continuous intensification of new urbanization construction,the migration and interaction of various ethnic groups in Xunhua County are becoming more frequent.The spatial form of multi-ethnic villages in suburban areas is undergoing significant changes,and the coexistence space of diverse ethnic groups is facing a dilemma of disorderly development.How to continue the symbiotic path of harmonious multi-ethnic living spaces in the new era is the main starting point of this article.Joining the village is a typical multi-ethnic village in the suburbs of Xunhua County.Through long-term migration and exchange,various ethnic groups have gradually evolved into a diverse and symbiotic multi-ethnic settlement pattern.This article takes the joining villages in the suburban areas of Xunhua County as the research object.First of all,it combs and summarizes the physical geography environment,national history and culture,and ethnic industry of Xunhua County,pointing out that the spatial form of multi-ethnic rural areas in the suburbs is formed by the joint influence of nature,humanity and various factors.Secondly,analyze the spatial form of joining villages during the formation period of a single ethnic group;Analyze the changes in the spatial form of the newly added villages from the perspective of the overall,external,and internal aspects during the development period of the new ethnic group;Analyze the spatial form,symbiotic communication space,and distribution pattern of ethnic cohabitation during the stable period of multi-ethnic settlement.Furthermore,it summarizes the spatial evolution characteristics of joining the village’s diverse symbiosis,extracts the symbiotic wisdom of long-term harmonious settlement of ethnic groups,and summarizes the influencing factors of joining the village’s spatial evolution.Finally,in response to the symbiotic dilemma of joining the village community space,this article proposes a symbiotic construction strategy for village space,and based on this,optimizes the design of its symbiotic space to enhance the harmonious living environment of joining the village in the context of urbanization.Through the above research,the following conclusions can be drawn: firstly,the formation of the spatial form of the added village is the joint effect of natural environment,ethnic migration,cultural industry,and urban development.Secondly,the characteristics of the evolution of village spatial form include: prototype genes,intelligent inheritance;Cultures are intertwined and surrounded by temples;Industrial connectivity and external development;Spatial symbiosis,tending towards diversity.Thirdly,the symbiotic wisdom of ethnic space includes four aspects: environmental space coexistence,cultural space integration,industrial space sharing,and facility space collaboration;Fourthly,the symbiotic construction of adding village space is divided into four parts: optimization,addition,continuation,and integration,in order to achieve harmonious coexistence of people,land,and environment.This article studies the spatial evolution and symbiotic construction of multi-ethnic villages in the suburbs of Xunhua County,which is beneficial for promoting the construction of beautiful rural areas in Xunhua County’s multi-ethnic areas and providing academic reference for the spatial construction of harmonious rural areas in multi-ethnic areas under the background of new urbanization.
