Research On The Optimization Of The New Model R&D Quality Management System Of T Company

As the auto market in China has been shifting from an incremental demand to a stable,even saturated tendency,which makes the competition between auto manufacturers increasingly more fierce,they are facing the unprecedented pressure of survival.At the same time,the concepts of consumption are changing and getting more mature with customers being concerned more about the auto brand,the manufacturer’s reputation and product quality.This has led to a huge challenge for the research and development(hereinafter R&D)department and quality control management of these automobile enterprises.They are not only to have increasingly more research and develop more new models,but also have to continuously improve the quality of their products to be able to maintain or increase market share.This thesis starts with the analysis of the status of T Company’s R&D quality management system,the application of quality management tools and the R&D process.Then,analyzes the numbers and types of problems in the two new R&D projects of T company,by using the causal analysis method and the analytic hierarchy process to identify the main factors that affect R&D quality,and to rank the importance of the factors,so as to determine the key points to improve T company’s R&D quality management system.Then,by combining the characteristics of the mainstream R&D quality management system and the Quality management tools,referring to innovative methods in different literatures,five improvement methods are introduced: establishing a professional-level review process,applying tracking system for the quality plan,implementing a checklist of product development,improving DFMEA documents and R&D database.Subsequently,these 5 optimization methods are applied on two R&D tasks in the C project.In order to evaluate the effectiveness,the questionnaire method is applied to investigate the scores.By comparing and analyzing the scores,the conclusion is that the effectivity of the two R&D tasks has been significantly improved.The research in this thesis has certain reference value for other automobile enterprises for the improvement of their R&D quality management systems.
