Research On Lean Production Improvement Of E Company Based On Value Stream Mapping Analysis

In the 21st century,the development of manufacturing has entered the lean and intelligent era.Germany has put forward the national strategy of "Industry 4.0",and China promotes strategy of "Made in China 2025".Many provinces and cities have formulated policies to support the intelligent manufacturing.Lean is not only the pillar of manufacturing industry,but also the foundation of intelligent manufacturing.Enterprises are facing increasingly fierce market competition,only in-depth implementation of lean production,efficient operation and continuous improvement,can enterprises enhance their core competitiveness and win long-term development.Lean production is widely used in the manufacturing industry,it can help enterprises eliminate waste,reduce inventory,shorten production cycle,improve on-time delivery rate,improve efficiency,reduce costs and improve product quality.Enterprises can increase the corporate profits and improve customer satisfaction,and then they can continue to expand market share and get sustainable development.This thesis takes E Company as the research sample.Firstly,this thesis introduced the development and application status of lean management,and then introduced the main lean thinking and tools used in this thesis.The way of thinking is even more important in lean management more than the professional tools.Secondly,this thesis gave the the current situation diagnosis of the company.We used SWOT analysis and Balanced Score Card to find out the major problems that the company urgently need to solve,to shorten the product lead time and reduce the product cost.Thirdly,basing on VSM,this thesis analyzed the value added and non value added process of a product family,then we could identified the root reasons that affect the lead time and product cost.The thesis drew the future value stream mapping of the company,and made the improving plan to solve the key problems one by one.Lastly,for the purpose of solidifying the improvement results,the thesis introduced Short Interval Management and performance appraisal method.Besides,the thesis established the continuous improvement organization to carry out improvement activities,which can help the company to promote the independent lean improvement.
