With the rise of humanism,the research context of urban geography begins to place the value judgment of "human" in the core position.Therefore,the study of urban livability,which emphasizes "the harmonious coexistence of human and city",has attracted extensive attention of urban geographers.The "extensive" development model generated by rapid urbanization causes problems such as resource waste and environmental pollution.Livable cities based on harmonious development of nature and society provide feasibility to solve the "urban disease".Therefore,the construction of livable cities has become an important direction of urban transformation and development.This paper takes Xuzhou urban area as the research unit,clarifies the connotation of livable city and the development status of Xuzhou city,and constructs a livable evaluation model combining subjective and objective factors from the dimensions of urban environment,social harmony,comfortable life,convenient service and residential safety.Entropy method and analytic hierarchy process were used to weight the system indexes and calculate the livability scores of Xuzhou as a whole and 39 streets.Spatial statistical analysis tools were used to analyze the general characteristics and causes of the overall livability level and five livability dimensions of Xuzhou.Based on the score,the streets in the city are classified and combined with the functional orientation of each district in the urban planning,the reasons for the formation of each type of district are analyzed one by one to find out the problems of livable development.Finally,according to the development orientation of each region,the paper puts forward the planning and response measures of each type for the pilot construction of beautiful and livable city.The results show that: 1.The overall livability level of Xuzhou is general,showing a "core-edge" spatial distribution pattern and a strong positive correlation between the streets,and the high value cluster show the phenomenon of single polarization.The emergence of the current pattern has a significant positive correlation with the built environment and the order of urban expansion.High level livable areas are mainly concentrated in the inner city of priority development;Most of the outside areas are transitional zones of general level,with prominent unbalanced development.The periphery areas are poor livable level,construction started late is the main reason.2.The spatial distribution of various livable dimensions is different.In terms of residential environment,the overall level is not outstanding,and the overall dependence on the natural environment is strong.Under the influence of the built environment gradually increasing inward,the distribution pattern is high around and low in the middle.The dimensions of social harmony,life comfort and service convenience show a distribution pattern of high in the west,low in the east and prominent in the core.The development status is affected by the distribution density of various service facilities,and has a deep connection with the inner and outer layers of the city.In terms of residential safety,the overall level is above the middle level,which is greatly affected by residents’ subjective evaluation and presents a random distribution trend in space.3.Each livable type area is deeply affected by its own functional orientation.High level livable area has clear function orientation and service function has obvious tendency to living environment;The functional orientation of general level and poor level livable areas is diverse,not focusing on residential functions.The overall positioning of the low level livable area is fuzzy,and there is no clear development goal.4.In view of the overall problem,the following corresponding measures are proposed: promoting the transportation system with high connectivity,allocating multi-level public cultural facilities,building sustainable and highly shared infrastructure,and promoting the orderly integration of the internal and external environment of the residential areas.5.For all types of livable areas,it is proposed that the high level areas should focus on air pollution control,the high level areas should focus on improving bus connectivity and basic education service quality,the average level should improve the coverage rate of public services,and the low level should focus on promoting development goals with potential functions.
