The vehicle dealer channel business is an important part of major property insurance companies,which has input a certain premium for property insurance companies.However,in recent years,the development strategy of property insurance companies trying to make profits by increasing investment has not been effectively realized,which makes the business performance gap of vehicle dealer channels more obvious.Therefore,it is necessary to study the current operation situation of vehicle dealer channels and the causes of performance gap.Based on the actual business situation and survey data of X property insurance company,this paper scientifically evaluates the business performance of vehicle dealer channel by constructing the performance evaluation index system of vehicle dealer channel business,in order to speed up the vehicle dealer channel to adapt to the new industry and environmental situation.Finally,it provides a reference for X property insurance company to adjust its development strategy and improve its market competitiveness.Taking Hubei Branch of X property insurance company as an example,based on customer satisfaction theory and channel performance evaluation theory,on the basis of theoretical analysis,through expert consulting method to establish vehicle dealer channel business performance evaluation index system,using entropy power analysis method,the vehicle dealer channel business performance of Hubei Branch of X Property Insurance Company was calculated from 18 specific indicators from four dimensions,such as economic benefit,operation satisfaction,competition effect,learning and development.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The entropy weight of economic benefit and competitive effect indicators accounts for 38.74% and 23.84% respectively,so they are the two most important indicators to evaluate the vehicle dealer channel business performance of Hubei Branch of X property insurance company in 2020;The entropy weight of operation satisfaction and learning and development account for 20.59% and 16.84% respectively,which are also the key indicators to reflect the business performance of the company’s vehicle dealer channel.The specific indicators such as the average production capacity of vehicle dealers’ channel stores,the credit quality of channel dealers,the premium renewal rate,the profit margin of vehicle insurance sales and the market share are the most important specific indicators to evaluate the performance of X property insurance company’s vehicle dealers’ channel business,and their entropy weight proportions are 10.59%,7.91%,7.65%,7.08% and6.82% respectively.Combined with the background of the current car dealer channel market and the above performance evaluation results,this paper analyzes the shortcomings of the performance evaluation indicators of the car dealer channel business of X Property Insurance Company Hubei branch and the causes,and finally puts forward the corresponding improvement countermeasures.(2)The performance of X property insurance company’s auto dealer channel business grew rapidly in the later period,with the largest increase in December,which was significantly better than the other two companies.However,compared with company a and company B,its disadvantage is that the performance of car dealer channel business fluctuates greatly in the early initial stage,and is vulnerable to external environmental factors such as market environment,horizontal competition and regulatory policies,highlighting the lack of effective means for X company’s car dealer channel business under the influence of internal and external environmental changes Compared with the benchmark of the insurance industry,there is still a certain gap in the ability to regulate the channel market and the return of old products and services.In addition,at present,X company only has good competitive advantages in economic benefits and operation satisfaction,but does not have advantages in competitive effect,learning and development.Based on the research,the first is to put forward corresponding optimization suggestions,in order to help Hubei Branch of X property Insurance Company to improve the channel business performance of vehicle dealer;The second is to build the performance evaluation index system of vehicle dealer channel business based on the multi-dimensional perspective,in order to provide a scientific basis for the scientific and reasonable evaluation of the vehicle dealer channel business of insurance companies.
