| The industrial structure is an important indicator to measure the level of national economic development.The main task of Economic restructuring is to optimize the industrial structure to lead the economic development in the New normal,and to achieve the coordination and integration of rationalization and upgrading of the industrial structure.At present,the distribution of China’s industrial structure is not reasonable,and the contradiction between the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure is not synchronized and coordinated still exists.Regional economic differences have not been alleviated.As an engine of regional economic development,rail transit can not only improve regional industrial layout and development models,promote the circulation and intersection of various production factors between regions,but also be an effective way to optimize industrial structure,achieve rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure.Studying the impact of rail transit on industrial structure optimization is of great practical significance for grasping the development opportunities of rail transit and promoting the optimization of China’s industrial structure.On the basis of combing relevant theories and research results,this paper takes rail transit to promote industrial structure optimization as the main line.First,it analyzes the current situation of rail transit and industrial structure optimization in China at this stage.Based on the background of traffic integration,it constructs the measurement index of rail transit development level,and uses the entropy method to measure the relevant panel data of 31 provinces,cities and autonomous regions in China from 2010 to 2021;And explain the mechanism of the impact of rail transit on industrial structure optimization from two perspectives: the correlation effect of rail transit industry and the industry spillover effect.Secondly,on the one hand,the GMM estimation method is used to analyze the overall impact of rail transit on industrial structure optimization;On the other hand,based on the overall analysis and industry correlation theory,the input-output method is used to analyze the impact of rail transit on China’s three industries and segmented industries of the national economy,revealing the impact and driving effect of rail transit on different industries from a structural perspective.The above theoretical and empirical research conclusions are as follows:(1)There are significant regional differences in the optimization level of China’s rail transit and industrial structure,and there is a clear contradiction between the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure,which is not synchronized and uncoordinated.(2)Overall,the development of rail transit significantly promotes the optimization of industrial structure;From a regional perspective,rail transit has a positive impact on the rationalization of industrial structure in the eastern region,with all three major regions promoting the upgrading of industrial structure,with the western region playing a more significant role;From the perspective of heterogeneity in the dimensions of rail transit,the improvement of railway development level will promote the optimization of industrial structure,while the promotion effect of urban rail transit on the upgrading of industrial structure is significant at the 1% level.(3)The supply driven effect of rail transit on China’s economy is higher than the demand driven effect.The influence coefficient and sensitivity coefficient of the industry have been increasing year by year,but the current level of development is not enough to meet social needs.Based on the above conclusion,from the perspective of overall planning and coordinated regional development;Promote the development of the rail transit industry and improve the level of rail transit development;Strengthen government planning and reasonably layout rail transit construction;Propose countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of rail transit and the optimization of China’s industrial structure from four aspects: strengthening the association of rail transit industry and promoting industrial structure optimization. |
