Along with the advent of the 21 st century,combined with the development of computer science,technology and economy,online game has gradually entered the life of people,becoming a new form of art culture in China.China’s online game industry,with its rapid development momentum and huge business scale,is playing a significant role in people’s life.In this process,with a more complete operation and profit model gradually formed,online game industry has become the mainstay of China’s Internet economy.Under such a background of rapid development,ZLONG Game has chosen a unique promotion mode of "Low speed,High quality",with which it has explored the field of game that the domestic companies rarely involved in,with superior quality in picture and music,hot IP resource as well as the grand view of the world and logic architecture,thus having not only avoided the fierce competition in the domestic game market,but also quickly occupied market share in a short term.Meanwhile,the company has actively explored overseas markets,with great results achieved in Japan,South Korea and other countries.Therefore,it is quiet reasonable and typical to take ZLONG Game as a case to analyze enterprise on operation and profitability.On the one hand,feasible measures can be put forward to improve the profitability of the enterprise for the basic goal of maximizing lucre;on the other hand,with the analysis of the profit model of ZLONG Game in its initial stage and growth period,their impact on the future of the enterprise can be discussed in order that ZLONG Game could pay more attention to the operation of its profit model,so as to to promote the company’s daily business activities in the future,thus realizing the sustainable and benign development of ZLONG Game.This paper adopts the research methods of case analysis,comparative analysis and literature research to analyze the profit model of ZLONG Game in different developmental periods.With the help of its performance and business data since its establishment in 2015,this research adopts the five elements of the profit model as the starting point,namely profit point,profit source,profit object,profit barrier and profit lever,combined with the financial data and literature of the company,analyzing the differences and problems of profit models in its initial stage and growth stage respectively,before putting forward corresponding improving suggestions on the status of its profit models in the aforementioned two periods.At present,ZLONG Game has the following problems: lack of secondary profitability at profit points,lack of sustainability and attractiveness at profit sources,single profit object and lack of universality,single profit model due to excessive consumption of profit leverage and user sentiment,and lack of r&d capital investment in profit barrier.In view of the current situation,if the company is to to maintain its current market share and phenomenal achievements,it still needs active improvement in terms of its profit model.This study can provide some practical suggestions for the sustainable development of ZLONG Game.Besides,some of its advantages can be applied to a wider range of online game platforms,so as to promote the development of online game industry in China.
