With the rapid development of China’s economy and the continuous development of the construction industry, the competition in the construction market has become increasingly fierce, leading to repeated disputes over construction contract prices. How to correctly and efficiently resolve construction contract price disputes has attracted much attention. On the one hand, contract price disputes are professional issues; On the other hand, the smooth progress of a construction project relies on the cooperation between the parties involved,as well as the cooperation of the government and relevant departments, and is constrained by relevant laws and regulations. However, the reality is that some construction units engage in illegal operations to seek more benefits, resulting in the complexity of contract price disputes. The occurrence of construction contract price disputes will be a major obstacle to the normal progress of construction projects.Analyzing the key influencing factors that lead to the formation of disputes and taking corresponding control measures can to some extent reduce the probability of disputes and the losses caused by disputes. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the key influencing factors of contract price disputes and proposes control strategies based on case applications. The main research content of this article is as follows.Firstly,by reviewing literature on contract price disputes both domestically and internationally, analyzing the current research status and dispute resolution methods in this field, the starting point of this study is drawn.Describe the concept of contract price and the characteristics of disputes, and introduce contract state theory, text mining theory, basic theory of principal component analysis, and entropy weight fuzzy comprehensive evaluation theory. This lays a theoretical foundation for the analysis of key influencing factors and the proposal of control strategies for subsequent construction contract price disputes.Secondly, based on the case analysis of the Judgment Document Network and relevant literature analysis, the influencing factors of construction contract price disputes were extracted and summarized, and a total of 26 influencing factors of construction contract price disputes were identified. The questionnaire survey method was used to obtain raw data, and principal component analysis was used to reduce the dimensionality of the data.Four types of principal component factors that affect construction contract price disputes were selected.By calculating the weight of each influencing factor, five key influencing factors were determined, including nonstandard construction process management, illegal subcontracting, insufficient awareness of contract management, engineering quality issues, and engineering changes.Using the entropy weight fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to construct an evaluation model for the effectiveness of contract price dispute control, and determine the weight values of indicators at all levels.Taking Project D as an example, after the completion of the project, relevant personnel were organized to rate the effectiveness of contract price dispute control.Based on the evaluation model of dispute control effectiveness, the project was evaluated and concluded that the control effect of the project was good, verifying the rationality of these five key influencing factors. Finally, corresponding control strategies are proposed for these five key influencing factors. This article studies the influencing factors and control measures of construction contract price disputes in construction projects, aiming to reduce the frequency of construction contract price disputes and provide suggestions for controlling construction contract price disputes in the actual construction process, which has certain practical significance.
