The automobile industry,which is the most significant pillar of national economic development,not only shows a country’s overall strength and comprehensive national strength,but also its level of manufacturing capability,research innovation,and transformational capability.Since reforming and expanding,our nation’s economy has achieved tremendous success and fostered the stable and long-term growth of the automobile sector.From small to huge,from the market to technology,from straightforward imitation to independent innovation,the automobile industry has gone through the entire process from small.In the current stage,the Chinese economy has been transformed from high-speed growth to high-quality development.It is in the period of adjustment of structural structure and transformation of mode.The automotive sector is thought to play crucial strategic functions as national economic stabilizers and thrusters.The W Company,a well-known international corporation with one of its most significant operations being aftermarket maintenance,is the research subject of this essay.Its product line includes items for every aspect of the vehicle maintenance industry.After over 30 years of development and since its 1995 entry into the Chinese market,it has made some progress toward promoting the standardization of the domestic automotive aftermarket industry.Its market share has also experienced substantial expansion in the meantime.Domestic businesses are consistently investing in scientific research,which strengthens their technical capabilities and allows them to compete with overseas companies on both a quality and functionality level.The long-standing market share of W business is under intense pressure from slow encroachment and persistent performance loss.The automotive aftermarket division of W Company has more difficult problems as a result of the ongoing changes in the external environment.The aforementioned circumstance merits serious investigation and study because it demonstrates how W Company can establish its own competitive advantages in the midst of intense rivalry and then retain a long-term market-leading position while also avoiding dangers in the face of this competition.This article evaluates the external environment faced by W Company using the PEST and Five Forces Analysis models and appropriate analytical tools.It then conducts a quantitative analysis of the opportunities and dangers facing W Company’s automobile maintenance business using the EFE matrix.The internal resources of W Company’s automobile maintenance business are assessed using resource and capability analysis,and the IFE evaluation matrix is created to determine the internal advantages and disadvantages of W Company’s automobile maintenance business.The SWOT model is then applied to an examination of strategic integration and matching.Finally,it is argued through the use of the QSPM quantitative strategic planning matrix that differentiated management may be employed as a workable competitive strategy for the growth of the automotive aftermarket business of W corporation.The focus of rivalry in the industry is also examined,and a new field is suggested,with the aid of the Blue Ocean value curve strategic layout diagram and the four-step action frame.Finally,a targeted competitive strategy implementation plan and suitable safeguard measures were created in accordance with the actual situation of W Company and combined with the findings of the strategic analysis to ensure the smooth realization of the differentiation strategy objectives.This study examines the current state of the automobile maintenance division of W Company’s operation and development,suggests differentiated management in light of the division’s weaknesses,and develops support plans for process reengineering,talent echeloning,and the addition of product managers,all of which have some practical implications for W Company’s division.Additionally,it serves as a reference point for other businesses in the same sector when developing their competitive strategies.
