In recent years,the number of motor vehicles in China has increased rapidly.Coupled with the influence of bad road environment,traffic congestion and pollutant discharge are increasingly serious,which has attracted extensive attention from the government and the general public.Urban traffic signal control is an important means to solve traffic congestion and environmental pollution.Therefore,considering the increase of fuel consumption and pollutant emission caused by the adverse road environment,this paper studies the coordinated control of urban trunk signal.The main contents include:Firstly,based on the calculation method of specific power emission,this paper considers the impact of the current signal light and traffic congestion during vehicle operation,and divides the vehicle operation between intersections into four conditions: idle speed,acceleration,deceleration and uniform speed.The specific power and emission factors are calibrated and the intersection simulation platform is built.Real-time vehicle operation data is obtained through simulation,and pollutant emission of vehicles under different operating conditions is determined by combining emission factors.Secondly,through the description of the basic concept of urban road and the analysis of urban traffic characteristics,the intersection signal control optimization strategy aiming at reducing vehicle delay and vehicle pollutant emission control is proposed;From the point of view of intersection traffic organization optimization,the constraint conditions considering the intersection phase effective green time,cycle time and minimum green time are established.Finally,taking three adjacent intersections of a road as an example,based on the traffic data survey and with the help of Synchro software,the initial traffic plan is evaluated,and evaluation indexes such as vehicle delay,service level,queue length,number of stops,fuel emission and various pollutant emission are determined.The signal timing of each intersection is optimized by Webster method and Synchro calculation method considering various performance indexes.The emission of three types of pollutants,control delay and road service level parameters under the initial scheme,Webster scheme and Synchro scheme are compared and analyzed,and Synchro signal timing is finally determined as the optimal scheme.On this basis,The common cycle time and phase difference of the scheme are determined,and the overall optimization data of the trunk are obtained.Using the optimized average speed and specific power emission calculation method,the micro emission status of vehicle is studied.The results show that: The average delay of motor vehicles decreased from61 s to 23 s,and the total delay decreased from 241 h to 99 h,both decreased by 63%;The average speed of motor vehicles increased from 20 km/ h to 34 km/ h,an increase of 70%;Motor vehicle parking is down 11 percent;Emissions of three types of pollutants and fuel consumption have all decreased by about 29 percent;The service level of the three intersections has been upgraded from F,D and D to D,A and B respectively.
