Analysis Of Chinese Medical Device Export Status And Main Domestic Impact Factors

The medical industry is an important factor to ensure the development of the country’s people’s livelihood and inject new vitality into the economic and trade cause.In recent years,China’s medical device export has developed rapidly,but the industry development and export are still facing multiple pressures such as low product technology content,weak innovation ability,lack of after-sales service,and rising trade protectionism.With the development of the national medical industry and pharmaceutical enterprises,the application of medical devices has received more and more attention.The sudden outbreak of the new coronavirus in 2020 highlights the importance of medical devices in protection and treatment.In the context of globalization,the development of my country’s medical device industry is a combination of opportunities and challenges.This paper first sorts out the relevant concepts and theoretical basis,analyzes the current situation of China’s medical device export,and theoretically proposes the main factors affecting the export of medical devices,including domestic influencing factors(such as gross domestic product,national income level,urbanization rate,aging degree,etc.),international influencing factors(such as tariff rates,exchange rates,the level of the medical device industry in the exporting country),and other influencing factors(such as types of medical devices,epidemics,etc.).The empirical part selects the panel data from 2002 to 2020 to explore the influencing factors of my country’s medical device export trade.It is concluded that the export volume of medical devices in each province in my country is positively correlated with the GDP level and urbanization level of each province.Finally,in view of the development of my country’s medical device industry,relevant suggestions are put forward,including adjusting the industrial structure,promoting domestic demand,actively improving relevant domestic laws and regulations,realizing trade diversification,rationally regulating the RMB exchange rate,expanding my country’s medical device exports,and reasonably responding to trade frictions Wait.According to the analysis results,countermeasures are put forward to promote the transformation and upgrading of my country’s medical device industry,so as to avoid possible risks in export trade and make China’s export trade develop healthily.
