With the rapid development of the world economy and the improvement of people’s living standards,the development of the shipping industry has attracted more and more attention.Roro passenger ships play an important role in the modern shipping industry.The lack of capacity of Ro-ro passenger ships puts forward higher requirements for the service industry of Ro-ro passenger ships.It is of great significance to study the stowage model and solution method of Ro-ro passenger ships.To realize the solution of a better stowage scheme and the selection of various stowage schemes,this paper designs the relevant evaluation system and the two-layer nested optimization algorithm for solving the stowage problem of ro-ro passenger ships and adopts the method based on TOPSIS-foreground theory to realize the selection of stowage schemes.A prototype system of ro-ro passenger and cargo ship stowage software is developed to realize the rapid solution of the ro-ro passenger ship stowage scheme.The specific research work is as follows:Firstly,the domestic and foreign research status of ro-ro ship stowage problem,multiobjective decision-making,and multi-objective optimization problem are reviewed.On the premise of meeting the stowage characteristics of ro-ro passenger ships,the influence of various factors on the stowage scheme is considered,and the evaluation index of the stowage scheme is selected.The overall research framework of the stowage problem of ro-ro passenger and cargo ships is designed.Secondly,an evaluation model of the vehicle stowage plan based on the TOPSIS-prospect theory is constructed.Based on constructing the model,the index weight is determined,and the TOPSIS-foreground theory method is used to realize the sorting selection of the scheme,which provides a reference for the solution of the vehicle loading scheme.Thirdly,a two-layer nested optimization algorithm is designed for the ro-ro passenger ship stowage optimization problem.The outer layer uses a two-stage optimization algorithm to solve the problem.In the first stage,the tabu search is integrated into the particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve the main stowage stage.In the second stage,a variety of strategies are used to improve the particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve the supplementary stowage stage.The inner layer uses the improved genetic algorithm to solve the vehicle scheduling sequence and returns the result to the outer layer to complete the selection and determination of the final scheme.Finally,a passenger and cargo ro-ro ship loading prototype system is developed,and the validity and feasibility of the constructed model and solution algorithm are verified by a case.
