As one of the commonly used components in electronic circuits,electrical connectors play the role of transmitting current,signal,and data in the circuit.They are widely used in aerospace,transportation,automobile manufacturing,and other fields.The function of the electrical connector is essential,and it is a crucial part to ensure the normal operation of electrical equipment.This paper selects a certain type of vehicle electrical connector contact as the research object.The vehicle will be subject to various vibrations when driving on the road.These vibrations will affect the reliability of the vehicle’s electrical connector contact.Therefore,the reliability of the electrical connector contact under the vibration environment is studied in this paper.The main work of this paper is as follows:based on the electrical contact theory,the failure forms and failure mechanisms of electrical connectors are analyzed;The mechanical model of the contact is established,and the contact pressure between the contacts is calculated theoretically.At the same time,the static simulation of the communication is carried out by using the ANSYS Workbench software,and the simulation results are compared with the theoretical calculation;Through modal analysis of the contact,the natural frequency and natural vibration mode of the contact structure are obtained;The dynamic model of the contact under the vibration environment is established,and the movement characteristics of the contact under the vibration load in different directions are analyzed.According to the relevant standards,the vibration simulation scheme is set up,the finite element vibration simulation analysis of the contact is carried out,and the change of contact pressure and the change of relative displacement of the contact under different vibration conditions are simulated;The vibration test of the contact was carried out,and the contact resistance changes of the contact under different vibration conditions were measured,and the influence of vibration on the contact resistance was explored;The random vibration simulation analysis of the contact is carried out to explore the changes of the structural response of the contact under the condition of uniaxial and multi-axial random vibration.
