| In the context of the global advocacy of green and environmental development in the world today,the Chinese government proposed at the 75 th United Nations General Assembly that China will increase its national independent contribution,adopt more powerful policies and measures,strive to achieve the peak of carbon dioxide emissions by 2030,and strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.Energy conservation and emission reduction are irreversible trends both internationally and domestically,and the development of new energy industries,especially new energy vehicles,is a major trend of the times.With the increasing living standards of the Chinese people,cars have entered thousands of households as an essential tool of daily life,and the new energy vehicle industry has ushered in a period of rapid development.As a leading enterprise in the domestic new energy vehicle industry,BYD Company needs to develop a scientific,forward-looking,and implementable development strategy in order to seize historical opportunities in global competition and embark on a sustainable development path that suits its own situation.This article takes BYD Company as the research object,applies theories such as enterprise development strategy,and combines industry research on the development status of the new energy vehicle industry.Based on PEST theory,it analyzes the external macro environment of BYD Company’s new energy vehicle development,and points out that the new energy vehicle market has huge potential,but fierce competition;Using the Porter Five Forces model,the industry competition environment of BYD Company was analyzed,and it was pointed out that BYD Company has certain advantages in industry competition as a whole;By using the SWOT matrix analysis method,the advantages of BYD company in terms of technology,sentiment,capital,and cost in the industry are fully elaborated.The disadvantages of BYD company compared to some enterprises in terms of brand and the shortcomings of traditional fuel vehicles in terms of technology are also pointed out.The opportunities it faces in the industry and the threats and challenges it is about to face are analyzed.After comprehensive analysis,it is believed that BYD Company should choose a development oriented strategy as a whole and have formulated phased strategic goals.At the same time,supporting development strategies have been formulated for the company,business,and functional levels of the enterprise,and corresponding suggestions have been given for strategy implementation and guarantee measures. |
