| In our country urban space organization basic pattern, the street is its important constituent,is also the most widespread public space system in the city.In the last urban construction, the design of Chongqing blindly copied the concept of plain urban construction, with its own characteristics of the mountain streets but not enough attention, resulting in the new city streets single spatial structure, scale grand, and the morphological characteristics of streets in primitive mountain areas are lost. The traditional street space with mountain characteristics in the old city is declining day by day because it has not been protected properly. In terms of functional layout, the function of streets is gradually unitary, and the space lacks interest and attraction, which makes it difficult to carry the daily needs and stimulate the interactive behavior of users. In the aspect of space composition, the design level of street space composition is single, the richness of space is low,and the use experience is poor.Based on the analysis of the composition and vitality of the street space in Chongqing, this paper finds that there are two factors that affect the interaction of the street space, namely, the composition of the street space and human activities. The low spatial interaction of some streets in Chongqing is mainly due to the lack of attention to the user-human and the neglect of human experience. Therefore, the focus of this paper is how to update the design,to create a suitable scale, functional diversity,to meet the dual needs of users of psychological and physiological street space. Finally,it will enhance the spatial interaction, enhance the attractiveness of the streets and restore their vitality.Based on a large number of case studies, through the comprehensive use of six research methods such as documentary research method, field research method, behavior observation method, questionnaire survey method, multidisciplinary comprehensive analysis method and inductive deduction method, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the streets in Chongqing mountainous areas, and summarizes three design strategies to improve the interaction of the streets, they are "Multi-space construction","Multi-level composite" and "Multi-details supplement"."Multi-space construction" mainly includes "Separation" and "Overhead",which divides the space horizontally and vertically, makes the space open and diverse, and creates the space with different scales and rich levels,to achieve spatial interoperability."Multi-level overlap" mainly includes " Unevenness" and " Stagger overlap ",in which the bottom interface and the top interface are lowered and raised,or the side interface is extended and concave, making the space flexible and practical, highlighting the spatial characteristics,to meet the functional requirements to achieve functional complementarity. The "Multi-detail supplement" mainly includes "Adding" and "Repairing",adding the missing facilities in the streets, repairing the old facilities, and meeting the diverse use needs of the street audience,in order to achieve crowd interaction.Taking the typical Old Town Longmenhao area in Chongqing as an example, this paper supports the proposed design strategy through the design practice.Through the design of three typical street space in Longmenhao area, taking the street space on the west side of Ma’anshan Old Street as an example,multi-space modeling is carried out to restore the characteristics of the mountain street space.Taking the street space in front of No.39 middle school as an example, the interest level is raised to increase the attraction of the Mountain Street space.Taking the street space around Longmenhao Community Health Center as an example, the functional details are woven to meet the needs of the crowd and improve the spatial interaction. The three strategies work together to restore the spatial features of mountain streets, increase the attractiveness of the streets, meet the needs of the crowd, and effectively enhance the interaction of the streets. |
