Based on landscape performance,researchers put forward the theory of landscape efficiency,which aims to reflect the comprehensive benefits of each landscape element to achieve the expected goals in the landscape practice.Explorations on miniature landscape environment with scientific cognition and quantitative evaluation is one of the research hotspots in landscape performance.The subway station entrance is a typical representative of the miniature space.It is urgent to use mathematical modeling methods to analyze the mechanism of landscape efficiency quantitatively and guide the environmental assessment and renewal design of subway station entrances scientifically.Based on the structural equation model,the measurement of landscape efficiency is conducted at subway station entrances with the exploration of the deep connotation and potential effect.It facilitates to realize the graphical description and mathematical analysis of the factor action mechanism,and promotes the scientific development of miniature landscape space performance.The research takes the subway station entrance landscape efficiency as the research object,and investigates 147 cases in the main urban district of Nanjing.It comprehensively adopts the field survey,image recognition method and software analysis method to obtain 11 observation factors,such as connectivity,then summarized four evaluation dimensions(e.g.traffic capacity).It constructs a hierarchical evaluation model to explore the endogenous logic of the subway station entrance landscape efficiency,and to verify the validity of the model.Finally,it concludes the construction rules of the subway station entrances to guide the landscape renovation.Specific research contents include:(1)Based on literature research and field research,summarize the landscape characteristics and spatial attributes of subway station entrances,and select the influencing factors related to landscape efficiency.Then it forms the evaluation system of the subway station entrance landscape efficiency comprises four latent variables and eleven observed variables.According to the principle of the structural equation model,the path relationship between the latent variables is preset,and the measurement method of the observation variable is constructed.The initial model of the landscape efficiency of subway station entrances is obtained after the transformation from the theoretical system to a parameter matrix.Take 147 samples and use multivariate digital technology to collect data.The data required to normalize to import into the structural model for parameter estimation and fitting evaluation.It conducted a calculation to gain the correlation coefficient of latent variables and the explanatory degree of observed variables.(2)Based on the model measurement results,it analyse the path coefficient,and put forward design strategies in wide applicability.This study takes three subway station entrances(e.g.the entrance 1 of Fuzimiao Station)as an example,then analyse the construction characteristics of the site in the four dimensions of space,vision,green space and facilities.After summarizing the current problems and the landscape efficiency,it acquires the results of graphical and index analysis,determines the areas need to be reconstructed and proposes renovation strategies.Finally,it applies post-design comparison to test the practicality of the structural model and proves the feasibility of the conclusion.The results show that the landscape efficiency of the subway station entrance has a complex factor coupling mechanism.The constructed structural equation model is consistent with the measured data.Potential variables can reflect the subway station entrance landscape efficiency.The observed variables are helpful to the quantitative measurement of the landscape efficiency at subway station entrances.The the structural equation model is applied to realize the quantitative description and graphical expression of the landscape efficiency mechanism of subway station entrances.It forms an effective structural equation analysis method for the landscape efficiency of subway station entrances.The relevant analysis and empirical results have exploratory value and reference significance for the quantitative landscape efficiency analysis and renovation design of subway station entrances.
