In response to the flexible layout of the frame span and the difficulty in the construction and standardized production of prefabricated structures with existing seismic absorption wall panels, this paper proposes a new type of assembled self-seismic wall panel by combining assembled wall panels with seismic absorption layers.Establishing finite element models of the self-seismic wall steel frame, seismic performance and various parameters were analyzed. The main findings are as follows:(1)Based on Chinese standart and theoretical calculations, the self-damping wall panel was designed, and four finite element models were established to study seismic performance. The damping layer of the self-damping wall panel has been demonstrated to significantly reduce the additional rigidity and released constraint effect on the frame, augmenting its energy dissipation capacity, and reducing its tensile stress to a level lower than that of concrete.(2)Establishing fourteen self-damping wall panel models with varying parameters, the results of the study revealed that the seismic performance of the frame is unaffected by the thickness and width of the damping layer. This was further supported by the linear relationship between the damping layer width and bearing capacity of the self-damping wall panel, which was found to remain constant when the total sum of rubber layer sizes was equal. The shear strain and bearing capacity of the damping layer are also linearly related.Width of the damping layer augments the frame’s horizontal bearing capacity in the face of horizontal force, yet the thickness of the entire damping layer diminishes the frame’s horizontal bearing capacity.Additionally, the data of the BSF-ASDW1 and BSF-ASDW2 models are basically the same.(3)The BSF-ASDW1-BSF-ASDW2 model was established to study the out-of-plane seismic performance and loading of the self-damping wall panel.Under uniformly distributed load, the self-damping wall panel can form a strip wall panel through steel plate connectors and transfer load to T-shaped connectors through compressive stress between wall panels. The results are conservative and safe. The width and thickness of the damping layer have a linear relationship with the out-of-plane seismic performance, and different rubber layer thickness parameters of the plate do not have a significant impact on the out-of-plane bearing capacity. The damping layer’s vertical stiffness can be augmented to enhance the out-of-plane bearing capacity, and the width of the self-damping wall panel is suggested to further augment the outof-plane bearing capacity.
