Research On Micro-renewal Design Of Outer Space Of Railway Campus Of Central South University

Under the boom of university construction,the construction of new campuses is in full swing,and the old campuses can not match the new campuses in terms of space comfort,perfection of equipment,and richness of resources.Under the premise of the continuous development of higher education concept,it is the urgent task of the old campus to seek the development direction and find its own positioning.The old campus carries the sense of belonging and campus culture of teachers and students for generations,but the original campus environment cannot meet the needs of teachers and students.On the premise of continuing the campus culture and historical heritage,the campus space of the old campus should be renewed to improve its own space quality.The significance of this paper is to create a better learning and living environment for teachers and students,adapt to the development of the times,and at the same time play a leading role in urban renewal,and to take a leading role in urban renewal and to better accomplish the purpose of teaching and educating people.The outdoor space of old college campus is mainly composed of public open space,space adjacent to buildings and transportation space.These outdoor spaces play an important role in creating vitality,displaying campus culture,inheriting historical heritage and shaping campus characteristics of old college campuses.In the background of urban construction from focusing on "quantity" to "quality",the construction of college campuses also follows the trend of the times,from large-scale renovation to campus environment renewal from the daily perspective.These updates are bottom-up and user-oriented,and are adjustments and repairs to the outdoor space of the campus from a small perspective.Therefore,this paper takes the current problems faced by the outdoor space of the Railway Campus of Central South University as the research topic,explores the essence and advantages of the outdoor space of the campus,and tries to build a set of strategies applicable to the micro-renewal of the outdoor space through field research and case studies,and provides references for the renewal of the old campus of other universities.The thesis consists of four main parts.In the first chapter,the old campus and the outdoor space of the campus are clearly identified and analyzed,pointing out the characteristics of the Railway Campus of Central South University as an open old campus,and through the review of related studies at home and abroad,the lack of micro-renewal research of this kind of characteristic environment is proposed,pointing out the necessity and value of the research of this topic.In the second chapter,summarizes the development history of college campuses,theories and domestic and foreign practices of campus outdoor space regeneration through summarization,and proposes that the most suitable way for the outdoor space regeneration of old college campuses at this stage is the small-scale and progressive micro-regeneration mode.In the third chapter,summarizes and analyzes the components and functional characteristics of the outdoor space of the Railway Campus of Central South University through data collection and on-site research,and analyzes the material and spiritual demands of the users of the campus through research and analysis of their living and travel habits.The direction of improving the quality of the outdoor space of the campus is identified by establishing a satisfaction evaluation system for the applicable people.In the fourth chapter,is a case study based on the research results in Chapter 3,and proposes a micro-renewal strategy for the outdoor space of the Railway Campus of Central South University from three aspects:function,transportation and environment.In the fifth chapter,is the verification of the micro-renewal strategy in Chapter 4,which is applied to the practice of improving the spatial quality of the outdoor space of the Railway Campus of Central South University,completing the transition from theoretical research,design strategy construction to practice.
