Research On The Promotion Strategy Of Informal Commercial Space To The Vitality Of Streets And Alleys

Streets and alleys are not only the blood of the city,nourishing and nurturing the vision and connotation of urban culture,but also an important public space for urban residents’ daily life.The vitality of streets and lanes has an important impact on the city and its residents.With the rapid advancement of urbanization,under the mode of large-scale demolition and construction,the original living atmosphere of streets and alleys is destroyed,the neighborhood relationship is gradually indifferent,and the vitality of streets and alleys is gradually exhausted.However,the informal business space in the streets and alleys still maintains a high vitality.The dynamic characteristics of informal commercial space and its impact on the vitality of streets and alleys are worth studying and discussing.This paper takes informal commercial space as the main research object and streets and alleys as the secondary research object.Firstly,it explains and defines the concept of informal commercial space and streets,then roughly combs the existence type,distribution area,formation reasons and relevant policy background of informal commercial space,and further arranges and summarizes the relevant literature and theoretical research on the vitality of informal commercial space and streets.Then it points out the influencing factors of street vitality,which is divided into three levels: material space,functional attributes and behavioral activities,and further discusses the relationship between informal commercial space and street vitality.Through the investigation and analysis of the material space,functional attributes and behavioral activities of the factors affecting the vitality of informal commercial space and its streets and lanes in Chengdu,this paper extracts the vitality characteristics of informal commercial space and the current characteristics of street and lane space,and combs out the current situation of informal commercial space and its streets and lanes.Then,in the fourth chapter,it further analyzes how the informal commercial space acts on the street vitality from the three levels of the influencing factors of the street vitality,and summarizes the general law of the impact of the informal commercial space on the street vitality.Finally,based on the previous research,this paper puts forward the necessity and applicable environment of informal commercial space intervention and street vitality construction,points out the basic design principles of street vitality construction,and puts forward the construction strategies under the three levels of vitality influencing factors under the guidance of the principles,in order to provide some guiding suggestions for the future informal commercial space intervention in street vitality improvement.
