| With the development of economy and medical technology,the fertility rate has decreased,and the average life expectancy of the population has significantly increased.The living conditions of elderly people who move with them in the destination have become a major issue facing the international community today.At present,scholars’ research on the migrant elderly mostly focuses on sociology,demography,medicine and other aspects,and from the perspective of solving the integration of the migrant elderly into the community,there is less involvement of design,and less attention is paid to the communication problems of the migrant elderly in the inflow area.This study aims to promote the integration of elderly people who have moved with them into the community by addressing their communication issues,and conducts research on elderly people who have moved with them in the Nanjie Community of Kaifeng City.By exploring the physiological,psychological,and behavioral characteristics of elderly people who have moved with them in this community,the types of communication spaces available for this group to integrate into the community are classified and sorted out.Subsequently,various factors that affect their communication activities are analyzed using methods such as field research,followup surveys,and focus group interviews.Based on the research results,the behavioral and spatial barriers that hinder communication are summarized.Finally,within the scope of research results and theoretical guidance,a communication mode design strategy was developed to promote the integration of elderly people living in the South Street community,and the design practice was ultimately completed under the guidance of the strategy. |
