Research On The Functional Space Design Of Community Health Service Stations Under The Goal Of Improving The Elderly Health Service System

Under the social background of China’s rapid aging development and the guidance of the national strategic principles of "Healthy China" and "Healthy Aging","establishing and improving a comprehensive and continuous elderly health service system covering urban and rural areas,including health education,preventive health care,disease diagnosis and treatment,rehabilitation nursing,long-term care,palliative care,and palliative care" has become an important task for the elderly.At the same time,the national policy puts forward clear requirements for improving the capacity of traditional Chinese medicine and rehabilitation services in grassroots medical and health institutions,and improving the capacity of grassroots health education and health management.Moreover,with the promulgation of the2022 Beijing Standards for the Planning and Construction of Community Health Service Institutions,community health service stations are facing an increase in the overall construction area index,but there is still a lack of relevant guidance on how to configure,allocate area,and layout functions of community health service stations of different scales.This paper takes the functional composition,area ratio and functional layout of community health service stations of different scales as the starting point.Firstly,through interview-based questionnaire surveys,a total of 433 valid questionnaires were collected to understand the chronic diseases of the elderly in the community,the utilization of community health service stations and the medical needs.Furthermore,based on the census of community health service stations in 5 streets in Xicheng District,Beijing,seven representative community health service stations of different areas and sizes were selected for in-depth investigation.Through surveying and mapping,fixed-point observation of main functional spaces and follow-up investigation of elderly patients’ medical process,the current status of the functional space composition of community health service stations and the utilization status of each functional space were mastered.On the basis of grasping the current situation,combined with the needs of the elderly and the functional positioning of community health service stations in improving the elderly health service system,the design suggestions of functional space composition,area ratio and functional layout of community health service stations of different areas and sizes are proposed,in order to provide spatial guarantee for community health service stations to improve traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis,treatment and community rehabilitation services and health education and health management,and provide more targeted design references for the construction or transformation of community health service stations in the future.
