Research On The Protection And Reuse Of Industrial Heritage In Ansteel From The Perspective Of Place Spirit

The development of cities has undergone new changes over time.In the process of dynamic urban development,the industrial buildings and sites left behind in the early stages of urban renewal in China are no longer able to meet the current needs of urban development,and are abandoned in their original places.However,the industrial heritage left behind has profound self significance and cultural value,containing rich historical memories and valuable industrial civilization,reflecting the important value of industrial heritage.However,due to the lack of sound theoretical systems and practical experience in the study of industrial heritage,many old industrial production and living sites have adopted blind reconstruction methods during the renovation process,resulting in the gradual disappearance of familiar industrial facilities,production sites,and site symbols for urban residents.Along with the imprint of past people’s lives,the historical memory of industrial heritage has gradually faded away,resulting in a lack of spiritual aspects in industrial heritage sites.The thesis first introduces relevant concepts and provides a theoretical interpretation of the memory of industrial heritage,forming a solid theoretical basis;Then,the key role of industrial heritage protection and reuse in urban social development was further studied;Studied the continuing role and significance of historical memory in the transformation of industrial heritage.By deeply exploring the characteristics of the memory of industrial historical sites and combining relevant domestic policies on the protection and reuse of industrial heritage,this provides a universal and valuable application strategy for the creation of the "place spirit" in the protection and transformation of industrial heritage.Finally,in terms of specific implementation,analysis and discussion were conducted on the Anshan "Ansteel Old No.1 Blast Furnace" project.Through extensive data collection and on-site data investigation,in-depth research was conducted on the site’s functions.Through research and organization of the situation,innovative and sustainable transformation and construction strategies were provided.The protection and reuse of industrial heritage were comprehensively summarized and future prospects were envisioned,and it was integrated into the urban environment,And regain social public recognition.This article attempts to discover the essential significance of the "place spirit" in industrial heritage sites,in order to explore design approaches for the protection and reuse of industrial heritage.Therefore,this article focuses on whether the protection and renewal of industrial heritage sites can preserve the memory and emotional identity of the public towards industrial heritage sites.The thesis analyzes the actual case of the "Angang Old No.1 Blast Furnace",excavates the past memory of the site,extracts memory elements,symbols,etc.left over during the industrial development process,and carries out protection and renovation design.
