Exploring The Design Strategy Of Longevity Of Rural Houses In Huizhou Based On SI System

In the context of China’s comprehensive implementation of a rural revitalization strategy,the integration of new villagers and new industries has exposed the shortlived problem of rural residences.Their native space and building quality can hardly meet the complex needs of the new-era occupants.The unsuitable area leads to the inability of the home to provide long-term quality living services for the occupants,and the low-quality residence also becomes a bad asset for society,contrary to the concept of the longevity of residential buildings.The SI system for urban housing is an essential tool for achieving longevity in housing.However,how to apply this system to the construction of rural multi-generational housing is a problem that needs to be solved urgently for the development of rural housing.Through five stages of elaboration,this paper explores the design strategy of applying the SI system to a rural multi-generation residence and realizing the longevity of rural multi-generation residence.First,summarize the core design concepts and critical technologies of the SI system to achieve longevity,sort out and summarize the current SI system framework,explain the relationship between the SI system and the longevity of housing,and then judge the importance of the two in combination with the current development trend of rural housing.Secondly,Huizhou rural housing is selected as the research object to investigate local rural housing.Discovering the current problems of rural housing while collecting the local characteristics of rural housing.;Third,through semi-structured interviews,we learned about the daily living habits of many residents and their evaluation of the residence and analyzed and summarized the space needs of various groups of people.Fourth,from the aspects of households,housing and society,we will deeply explore various strategies for the longevity of Huizhou rural housing based on the SI system and evaluate the importance of each longevity strategy through the analytic hierarchy process.The evaluation has been used to select the technology and construction method suitable for the countryside.Finally,the research results and summarized design strategies are implemented in a set of scheme designs,and the whole process of longevity design is deduced in combination with the scheme.Because of the practical problems of rural housing construction and the real needs of residents,this paper takes Xixinan Village as an example;through the field investigation and interviews of multi-generation housing and residents,and combining with the SI housing system,puts forward the longevity design strategy applicable to Huizhou rural housing.And the feasibility of the strategy is initially verified using the program projection.The author hopes to provide a valuable reference for the design of rural houses through this attempt.
