Study On Building Protection And Reuse In The West Section Of Huanghe Road In Changchun City

Changchun’s "14th Five-Year Plan" pointed out that it is necessary to prioritize the protection of people’s livelihood and well-being,focus on the implementation of basic tasks such as the renovation of old communities,the improvement of historical and cultural blocks and municipal public facilities,and ecological restoration,and gradually carry out the urban renewal work such as construction of vibrant blocks and green ways.Huanghe Road belongs to the South Square Historical and Cultural District.As an old street,its western section gathers more historical buildings.However,as time goes by,there have been problems such as poor protection of historical buildings,low utilization rate of general buildings,poor quality of living environment,and low vitality of streets and roads.In order to better maintain the continuity of architectural history and make streets more adaptable to modern life,it is necessary for us to discuss the subject of "how to adapt the protection and reuse of buildings in the west section of Huanghe Road to social development".In view of the fact that the repair design of "Chimu Foreign Firm Building located in the west section of Huanghe Road" is an actual project hosted by the author’s supervisor,he provided certain technical guidance,theoretical assistance and practical basis for the research of the subject.The first part expounds the source and background of the topic,research purpose and significance,research object and content,research method and framework,and analyzes the related research status at home and abroad combined with data.The second part introduces the relevant concepts,theories and cases of building protection and reuse,as the basis for the building protection and reuse of the west section of Huanghe Road in Changchun City.The third part takes the Yellow River Road in Changchun as the background and defines the scope of the west section of the Yellow River Road.Through on-the-spot research,it focuses on the current status of buildings and environments in the west section of Huanghe Road,analyzes its historical value and the necessity of protection,and raises targeted questions,thus leading to the following discussion on the design research of building protection methods and reuse of this section of street road.The fourth part introduces the basic principles of building protection,and based on this,under the guidance of the relevant theories proposed in the second chapter,the research on the building protection and reuse methods of the west section of Huanghe Road in Changchun City is carried out.The fifth part takes the restoration of three key protective buildings in the west section of Huanghe Road in Changchun City as the starting point,explores the idea of adaptive renovation of each building along the street and the overall renovation strategy of the street,and draws the relevant design drawings,discusses the contemporary survival strategies of the buildings on those historical road sections.
