With the continuous progress of modern power technology,the power system is gradually moving from high-speed to high-quality development.Substation,as an indispensable part of the power grid transmission process,has also been continuously developing in recent years.In traditional old-fashioned substations,they are basically operated through independent systems,which not only make the system redundant and complex,making it impossible for the systems to play their maximum role among each other,but also make it difficult for staff to operate and the system automation is low,making it easy to cause safety accidents.In order to solve the above problems,this article establishes and adopts an intelligent auxiliary monitoring system to make the operation of the substation more modern and intelligent.The main content of this article is to establish an intelligent auxiliary monitoring system for substations.Through exploration and demand analysis of the functions of intelligent substations,and based on the principles of automation control technology,an intelligent auxiliary system capable of monitoring various parts of the substation has been designed.The lower computer of the substation monitoring system uses CPU226 of PLC as the control core.It collects real-time data on transformer voltage,current,transformer temperature,environmental humidity,and SF6 content in the air through sensors,and controls the fan system.At the same time,it can achieve intelligent lighting control;The upper computer of the substation monitoring system uses LabVIEW software for programming and designing the monitoring interface.The data collected by the lower computer is displayed,stored,analyzed,and uploaded in real-time,and the running equipment is monitored in real-time through a camera.The system also uses BP neural network algorithm to predict the oil temperature in the transformer oil tank,and monitor the change trend of oil temperature,which greatly reduces the incidence of accidents.The substation intelligent auxiliary monitoring system has passed system testing,and the test results show that the lower computer system can effectively collect data from various equipment in the substation,and achieve automatic or manual fan control and lighting control.The upper computer has achieved functions such as data display and video monitoring.The automation level of the substation monitoring system has been improved,and its safety and stability have been greatly improved,which can reduce the incidence of accidents to a certain extent.
