Encoder is a precision digital optical measurement instrument that measures the angle and position of objects through gratings,widely used in fields such as machine tools,motors,aerospace,and other fields.With the continuous development of industrial level,the accuracy requirements for optoelectronic coding are also increasing.Due to the impression of the optoelectronic encoder itself and external factors,errors will inevitably be introduced during the measurement process.This part of error will affect the quality of Moiré fringe signals,thereby reducing the subdivision accuracy of the optoelectronic encoder.This article proposes a Moire fringe signal detection and processing system based on an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm,which can effectively improve the subdivision accuracy of the photoelectric encoder.Firstly,based on the working principle of the photoelectric encoder and the generation method of the Moiré fringe signal,a mathematical model of the Moiré fringe signal was established.Then,the subdivision error of the Moire fringe signal was analyzed,and a compensation model for signal subdivision error was established.By analyzing and comparing different algorithms,the particle swarm algorithm was selected to solve the parameters of the actual Moiré fringe signal,and the particle swarm algorithm was optimized.The mean simplified particle swarm algorithm was proposed,which reduced the number of iterations and accelerated the computational speed.The improvement effect of the algorithm can be observed by drawing the normal distribution of the number of iterations before and after the improvement.Design a compensation system based on the error type of the Moire fringe signal,and compensate the signal through the calculated parameters.The algorithm part of this article is implemented on the FPGA platform,utilizing the speed advantage of parallel computing on the hardware platform to accelerate the algorithm.By building an experimental platform to verify the signal compensation system,the peak subdivision error before compensation was 106.01 ’,and the peak error after compensation was 4.64 ’.The experimental results show that the method of Moire fringe signal compensation based on mean simplified particle swarm optimization algorithm can effectively reduce Moire fringe subdivision error,and the designed compensation system is feasible and effective.
