With the continuous reform and development of the construction industry,the traditional engineering consulting model can no longer meet the diversified needs of owners,the whole process of engineering consulting services came into being,the management mode and workflow are increasingly perfect,BIM,AI,big data,cloud computing and other digital technologies continue to influx,the whole process of engineering consulting will enter a stage of high-quality development.However,BIM technology has gradually brought out many problems in the application of whole process engineering consultation.On this basis,this paper investigates the obstacles of BIM technology in the application of whole process engineering consultation and analyzes the corresponding countermeasures from the perspectives of governments,enterprises,universities and industries.This paper first introduces the concept of BIM,the definition of total process engineering consulting,and the content,value,and application of total process engineering consulting services.BIM technology is crucial to whole process engineering consulting,The state of the application of BIM technology in process engineering consulting is summarized,the problems existing in the development of the stage are listed,and the main ideas of process analysis are proposed.The literature review identified barriers to the use of BIM technology at home and abroad in the development of engineering consultancy throughout the process,the preliminary hindrance factors were obtained,the preliminary constraints obtained were modified by the Delphi method,the questionnaire survey method and the analytic hierarchy method were adopted to establish a judgment matrix,and the main constraints of BIM technology in the application of whole-process engineering consulting were summarized as the shortage of compound talents,the slow return on investment of BIM technology,and The business segment process and the BIM application process are not closely connected,the management mode supporting BIM technology is lacking,and the BIM organization management and business organization management are not closely connected.Responses and recommendations for each of the main constraints.Finally,combined with the problems and difficulties of the actual project,the BIM solution is proposed,and the BIM technology and the whole process engineering consulting are combined to connect the construction participating units through the BIM collaborative management platform,which solves the problems existing in the project,improves the organizational structure has clear ideas,and finally realizes the full use of BIM functions.Practice has proved that the combination of BIM technology and full consultation mode to control the project can improve the project management level,save construction costs for the owner,and solve the current situation of communication difficulties,overall service and responsibility mechanism breakage,and fragmentation of project information in the project.
