Energy is an important physical driving force in the continuous development and progress of human society. As a big population country, our country has a higher energy demand. At present,construction-related energy consumption update to 45.5%of the total energy consumption in China, among which energy consumption in construction operation stage accounts for 21.3% of the total energy consumption in China, and urban centralized housing is the main object of energy consumption in operation stage.Urban centralized residential area is growing fast at present, and it is a key point to reduce the total consumption of energy by paying attention to energy consumption in the operation stage of urban centralized residential building.Balconies,as an indispensable functional space of residential buildings, are directly in contact with the outdoor environment and are greatly affected by the natural climate. The fluctuations of the balcony environment will have an impact on the indoor environment, causing the fluctuations of the indoor light and hot air environment,so that residents take active intervention measures to adjust the indoor environment, and additional energy consumption will be generated during the operation process. In this paper, the closed convex balcony of urban concentrated residential buildings is taken as the research object. In order to optimize the structural form of the balcony, make the balcony better use of solar radiation resources, and then reduce the energy consumption in the building operation process, the internal partition of the balcony and the window wall ratio of the balcony are determined after the understanding of the common enclosed convex balcony structure.Balcony shading measures are three factors that have great influence on balcony utilization of radiation resources. In Design Builder energy consumption simulation software, the "zigzag" model was abstracted to avoid the interference of orientation factors. The performance of three influencing factors was studied by taking the climate of Hangzhou,a region with hot summer and cold winter as a typical example. The influencing ability and reasons of each factor on the utilization of solar radiation resources for balconies were discussed.Abstract model simulation results show that: 1.For closed convex balconies, retaining internal partition is more conducive to building energy saving.2.Internal partition material,in the case of good air tightness, the more excellent thermal performance, the stronger the adjustment ability of indoor thermal environment, the more energy saving.3.The window-wall ratio of the balcony has a greater impact on the energy consumption of cooling than that of heating.4.On the whole, sunshade measures taken in hot summer and cold winter areas have considerable energy saving benefits, among which the west-oriented yield rate is the best.5.In hot summer and cold winter areas, shading measures should be based on shading, heat insulation as a supplement. Therefore, taking active shading measures can obtain greater energy saving benefits.Based on the relationship between residential building balconies and solar radiation in different regions, this paper selects two climate zones to study typical residential building balconies. The first climate zone is the areas with hot summers and cold winters.Areas with hot summers and cold winters has the most changeable and complex climate in our country. This paper selects Climate Consultant software to do climate analysis on typical cities in this region, and then selects three cities representing different application forms.Hangzhou,Hanzhong and Guilin are selected as typical cities for research. The research on this region can reflect the diversity and applicability of this study. The second climate region is the cold region of the western Plateau, which has the most abundant reserves of solar radiation resources in China, while most of the local climates are cold and the daily range is large.Lanzhou,Yinchuan and Xining are selected as the typical cities in this paper, and the study on this region can show the greatest potential. The classic house model was established in Design Builder, and the typical urban climate was introduced. Then, the actual performance of the partition,window-wall ratio and shading measures in the balcony were analyzed. Finally, the structural form of the enclosed convex balcony adapted to each other was obtained, and the thermal comfort of the final structural model was preliminarily evaluated by indoor air temperature. The results show that:In areas with hot summers and cold winters, set up between the living room and the balcony with air tightness and good thermal performance of the internal partition, packaging external convex surface choose 0.6、0.6 window wall ratio size, and set the solar reflectance of 0.5 can be lifted roller curtain outside the sun shading, external shading only in the non-heating period of 7 to 18 points, when the outdoor temperature is higher than 26℃.It is the best structure and use form of closed convex balcony to utilize solar radiation resources. In the cold region of the western plateau, set up between the living room and the balcony with air tightness and good thermal performance of the internal partition, encapsulation of the outer convex window wall ratio should be between 0.5~0.6,the air conditioning degree-day number is greater than zero, consider the setting of outdoor shading, air conditioning degree-day number is zero, without considering the shading measures to close the convex balcony to use the optimal structure and use of solar radiation resources.
