Research On Nursing Handling Tools For Disabled Persons In The Context Of Aging

With the increasing aging of our population,the number of disabled elderly people has also risen.This group of people has different degrees of impairment in self-care ability,so they need the help of assistive devices or caregivers to complete the mobility activities in daily life.However,because most domestic assistive care products are oriented toward medical and disability appliances,the variety of lifting aids is small and single-functional,which cannot meet the needs of disabled patients and their caregivers,resulting in their choice to abandon the use of lifting aids and often use traditional manual lifting methods for lifting care,further increasing the burden of caregivers.This paper designs a lifting aid for the daily lifting care of the disabled elderly,which can ensure the safe lifting of the patient by lifting and extending the seat and rotating the seat surface and backrest to support the main functions,enhance the lifting efficiency and reduce the caregiver’s caregiving pressure.The research in this paper is user-centered,focusing on the disabled elderly and their caregivers.In the literature research phase,the current status of research on the disabled and mobility aids at home and abroad is understood and analyzed;in the user research phase,the focus is on the characteristics of the disabled elderly and the daily care of caregivers,and the comparative analysis of care models is conducted;in the product research phase,market research on mobility aids at home and abroad is conducted,as well as a detailed analysis of the mobility methods and mobility aids used by disabled patients in their daily care process is discussed.In the product design stage,the user scope,product type and product function elements were determined through the analysis of human,machine and environmental factors.Based on the results of the study,we designed a seated mobility device for the elderly with mild to moderate disability and their caregivers.The device can effectively solve the care problems of the disabled elderly in various scenarios,such as lifting,toileting and bathing,etc.Based on this,four functional modules of mobility,load-bearing,lifting and rotating support,and control are constructed,and the main functional structure,operation mode,material color and human-machine dimensions of the seated mobility aid device are analyzed in depth.The seated lift assistive device designed in this study reduces injuries to caregivers during traditional lifting of the disabled elderly,relieves the stress of their daily care,and allows for further improvement in the quality of life for both parties.
