Study On Care Units For Disabled Elderly In Beijing

Population aging has become a worldwide trend,and the impact of the deepening of China's aging is becoming more and more obvious.Increasing proportion of disabled elderly in China,unprepared elderly in policy form,large-scale care unit of old-age facilities,and the mixing of disabled elderly and self-care elderly in the unit lead to a series of problems in the unit space model and nursing mode of care facilities for the elderly in China.At present,the space environment of care unit influences the quality of life of disabled elderly under the institutional pension system.For the disabled elderly in the old-age facilities,the care unit is the main functional space.Therefore,based on the current standard system,this paper chooses the care unit of full-time care facilities for the elderly as the research carrier,and carries out space use feedback research around two groups of people in the unit(mainly disabled elderly,supplemented by nursing staff).Firstly,aiming at the care unit,the function composition,organizational classification,spatial connection form and spatial environment requirements of the unit are analyzed.Then take the care unit as a whole,focusing on the analysis of the spatial relationship between the care unit and the care facilities for the elderly.According to the survey of the size of the care unit,it is concluded that the size of the unit does not match the needs of the elderly and the care mode at the present stage,and there is no significant relationship between the size of the unit and the scale of the care facilities.Existing problems and strategies between unit and multifunctional activity space are put forward.Finally,select the elderly with lower limb disability,which is a special kind of disabled elderly,to carry out the exploratory experiment of minimal sexual space based on the needs of the elderly with lower limb disability.Two kinds of experiments were carried out: the wheelchair accessibility experiment assisted by others and the wheelchair accessibility experiment operated by itself.Relevant conclusions were drawn in order to better understand the space use needs of disabled elderly people.The purpose of this study and practice is to provide reference for the design of care unit of care facilities for the elderly,promote the development of care unit for the aged in institutions,improve the efficiency of care and improve the quality of life of the elderly in the process of studying the design of space model.
