Bionic flapping wing aircraft is a new type of unmanned aerial vehicle which integrates mechanical and biomimetic disciplines.It can obtain the lift and thrust required for its own flight through the up and down reciprocating flapping of wings,and complete complex flight actions.Compared with common rotorwing UAVs and fixedwing aircraft,it has many advantages,such as small scale,light weight,good concealment and flexibility,etc.Because of these advantages,it has not only attracted wide attention in the civil field,but also in the military field,and has a wider development prospect.In this paper,a new bionic ornithopter is designed,and the flight mechanism of birds and flying insects and the high-lift mechanism are analyzed,the transmission structure is designed,the dynamics and fluid mechanics are analyzed,and finally the production of the overall prototype,experimental testing and flight testing.Through the analysis of the flight mechanism of birds and flying insects and the mechanism of generating high lift,the possible mechanism of high lift of flapping wing aircraft is analyzed.The body structure,wing structure and wing movement pattern in the whole flapping cycle of birds were analyzed.The four mechanisms of high lift in insects,namely Clap and fling,were analyzed.Delayed stall mechanism;Rotational effect mechanism and Wake capture mechanism.The analysis results provide a basis for the subsequent development of bionic flapping wing aircraft.Through the analysis of the flight mechanism of birds and flying insects and the mechanism of generating high lift,the possible mechanism of high lift of flapping wing aircraft is analyzed.The body structure,wing structure and wing movement pattern in the whole flapping cycle of birds were analyzed.Four mechanisms of high lift in insects were analyzed.The Fluent module of Workbench platform was used for aerodynamic analysis of the selected airfoil to analyze the influence of different inlet velocity and frequency on its aerodynamic characteristics.The results showed.The ornithopter can obtain a large lift force at a large incoming flow speed and a large frequency.Meanwhile,the leading edge vortexes of the wings should also be adjusted to generate lift force,which provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent structural design and prototype production.According to the above theoretical calculation and simulation analysis,combined with the actual situation,the design and processing of each part of the aircraft,and food assembly.The fixed Angle of the tail is determined by flight test,which makes the aircraft have better control performance.Finally the actual flight test,the performance indicators meet the design requirements.
