With the increasing demand of enterprises and users for modularized,systematic and integrated parts,the use of intelligent design technology for the design of connected parts can reduce design costs,improve the efficiency of enterprises,their product quality and product development capabilities,and maximize the management and reuse of product design knowledge.In this paper,we take connected parts as the research object and effectively combine the knowledge-based process customization technology with CATIA secondary development technology to realize the visual expression and reasoning of design knowledge,the rapid construction of features and the assembly design of connected parts.The research content of this paper includes the following aspects.(1)In view of the problems that exist in the current product design field,such as design knowledge is not easy to manage,this paper conducts an in-depth study on the knowledge-based process customization technology.The principle and function of the process customization system are elaborated,and the function of the process block diagram is introduced in detail,and the visual representation of the design knowledge of connected parts is proposed to be realized by using the process customization system.(2)The design knowledge level of threaded connection parts was divided,and the design knowledge of threaded connection parts was summarized and organized by reviewing relevant materials,and the summarized design knowledge was expressed and reasoned in the form of flowchart frames in the process customization system.(3)The features of the connected parts were classified,and the parametric modeling technology based on the features and CATIA secondary development technology were combined for the variant design process of the features,and parametric feature templates such as through-hole feature,countersunk hole feature and threaded hole feature were developed;the data-driven parametric templates were reasoned by the process customization system to realize the rapid design of the connected parts;for the traditional assembly We propose to use CATIA programming language to create constraint relations to realize the assembly design of connected parts.Practice shows that by applying the knowledge-based process customization technology to the design of connected parts,the intuitive expression of product design knowledge and rapid reasoning are realized.On this basis,the process customization system and CATIA secondary development technology are used to realize the rapid construction of features and the assembly design of connected parts,which improves the design efficiency to a certain extent.
