The Application Of "Folding" In Rural Public Space Design

Contemporary architectural design techniques emerge in an endless flow,among which the theory and technique of "folding" are widely applied in architectural design practice,which undoubtedly provides valuable experience for architectural design in internal space,structure,external environment and other aspects.With the development of rural revitalization,the importance of rural public space is increasingly highlighted.Excellent public space design should reflect the good combination of regional unique culture and economic pillar,which can not only gather the hearts of villages,but also drive the development of local industries.This paper takes Yuhuang Pavilion in Qianniu Village,Yangquan City as a case study to study the design and application of "folding" in rural public space.Mainly through three parts to expand the discussion,the first is the introduction,the topic content and background,significance and purpose as well as domestic and foreign research overview;The second part is the three chapters of the main body,which expounds the related concepts of "folding",the design principles of rural public space,and the application of "folding" in the design of rural public space.This paper specifically discusses the meaning,origin and development of "folding",expounds the definition and design principles of rural public space,including the meaning of public space,as well as the definition of rural public space,space type and design principles of rural public space.Finally,the paper focuses on the application of "folding" in the public space design of Yuhuang Pavilion in Qianniu Village,Yangquan City.The last chapter is the focus of this paper,which mainly analyzes the application of "folding" in the public space scheme design of Yuhuangge in Qianniu Village,Yangquan City,and comprehensively analyzes the current situation of the project from the aspects of practical project background and design techniques of "folding" public space of Yuhuangge in Qianniu Village.On this basis,the interior and landscape scheme construction and public space design results of the Jade Emperor Pavilion in Qianniu Village were analyzed and designed.The public space square landscape design of the Jade Emperor Pavilion and its surrounding buildings was reserved,and some of the interior public space design of the Jade Emperor Pavilion was designed based on the pottery industry of Qianniu Village.This paper enters into the rural public space design from the Angle of "folding",and designs the public space more integrated into the rural atmosphere with the help of "folding" concept.The "folding" technique maximizes the utilization rate of space.On this basis,the irregular sense of "folding" forms a contrast with traditional architecture and adds dynamic space.Based on the reality of Qianniu Village,this paper designed on the basis of protecting the original buildings of Yuhuangge Square,combined with the characteristic industry of Qianniu Village to locate the pottery exhibition hall,hoping to bring the villagers the public space of cultural attributes they desire,and also hope to provide some ideas for the development of the village through this paper.
