Woyunpu Village,Laiwu,Jinan City,is a typical representative of the traditional villages in the mountainous areas in Shandong.With the development of tourism development,the spatial function within the village fails to meet the villagers ’ living area and the spatial function under the tourism orientation,and the existing space cannot meet multiple needs.Therefore,it is particularly urgent to strengthen the construction of public space and invest in the design of rural public space.Based on the background of Woyunpu Village,this paper conducted three field surveys,summarizing the characteristics of Woyunpu Village through sample mapping of traditional residential houses,and oral history interviews with craftsmen and villagers.According to the actual situation of the existing public space,the type and distribution of the existing public space are integrated and recorded,summarize the current situation,demand and future development trend of the village public space,and explore the internal demand and activation motivation of the village public space through the phenomenon.Balance the expression of traditional and modern space,analyze the connection between modern and traditional internal culture,and reshape the rural public space,so as to enable the activation and inheritance of traditional villages.The design of the public space in the sleeper shop village completes the village planning and public architectural scheme design adapted to the new functions of cultural and tourism construction.It is the main content of this article to use regional characteristics,appropriately improve and increase the public space of modern countryside,provide space sharing experience for villagers and foreign tourists,and show the style of the new era and new countryside.
