As the carrier of the art of living,Suzhou House Garden has a variety of spatial forms.As a special kind of architectural space type in the house garden,pavilions meet the multiple needs of walking,buffer,stopping and viewing,and are an important element for the extension of "house" to "courtyard".The construction of its landscape space directly affects the garden experience of visitors.Scientific and accurate planning of the pavilion space to get the best tour effect is of great significance to the design of the house garden.This article selected 6 in Suzhou classical house garden for the research object,select the private house for the function type,on the basis of the existing garden research,using the convex space method and space analysis(Isovist Analysis),build horizon analysis model,with the help of Depthmap parameterization tools of the space topological relationship,visual area,pavilions visual range,line of sight steps(Angular Step Depth),space depth(Metric Step Depth)index,comparative analysis of the similarities and differences between the garden pavilions.Using quantitative analysis to make up for the shortcomings of the traditional house garden research on the subjective level,summarize the universal applicability of the classical house garden pavilions in Suzhou,and provide data support and theoretical reference for the research of pavilions at the present stage.On the basis of the traditional house garden space research,the study of the pavilions and feasible layer of space topological relationship,including the largest horizon diameter,the pavilion within the horizon shape,the park horizon area distribution,garden building topology depth,complexity and organization type,spatial orientation,line of sight steps and movement orientation for detailed analysis,thorough interpretation of pavilion features,lay a foundation for the law of quantitative research summary.The values of the 6 garden pavilions were compared and analyzed,and the numerical rules,the layout rules of pavilions,the depth of sight,the guidance of sight,the law of the function type of pavilions,the change of the direction of movement were summarized.According to the case analysis,the design sequence of pavilions is deduced as the horizon analysis of pavilions-pavilions functional classification-arrangement of scenery occlusion-arrangement of maximum horizon diameter-space series mode-selection of organization mode.The design principles of houses and pavilions are mainly the layout of the key,the view and the following.The essence of the pavilion space is to complete the landscape configuration with the space as the basic unit.The pavilions in the garden can be divided into three types based on their functions and organizations,namely,traffic node,landscape and viewing pavilions.By organizing and summarizing the spatial composition and layout techniques of the research objects,the organizational form,design techniques and spatial characteristics of the pavilions in the garden based on different sites and different needs are analyzed,the commonness and individuality of various spatial forms are compared,and the application rules and adjustment of different types of pavilions in the garden are summarized.
