X Company’s Supply Chain Resilience Evaluation Under The Background Of COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on China’s manufacturing industry,among which the automobile manufacturing industry,as a representative,has exposed the shortcomings of lack of toughness in the supply chain,which has seriously affected the normal operation of the automobile supply chain.Therefore,it is of great significance for automobile enterprises to study the resilience of automobile supply chain under the influence of the epidemic to carry out supply chain risk control and establish strategies for automobile supply chain to deal with the epidemic.The main research content and innovation of this paper are as follows:(1)First,the basic situation of X Company’s supply chain management was summarized,the factors affecting the toughness of the automobile supply chain were analyzed,the main factors affecting the toughness of the automobile supply chain were identified,and the toughness evaluation index system of the automobile supply chain was constructed from the five dimensions of prediction ability,monitoring ability,response ability,recovery ability and learning ability.The system contains 5 first-level indicators,16 second-level indicators and 48third-level indicators.(2)Based on analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and extension matter-element evaluation theory,the automobile supply chain toughness evaluation model was constructed.An empirical study is made on the supply chain resilience of X Company,a large automobile enterprise.According to the current situation of supply chain management of X Company,the monthly data of X Company from November 2019 to May 2020 are selected as the main basis to evaluate the toughness of the automobile supply chain of X Company.Based on the results,the supply chain resilience scores of X Company in the period of no epidemic,early epidemic,severe epidemic and epidemic control were analyzed.The results showed that X enterprise had the highest supply chain resilience before the epidemic,with a close degree of 3.11.In the stable supply chain condition is excellent,with great market competitiveness.The score was2.64 during the pandemic and recovered to 2.85 after the pandemic.This indicates that the supply chain of X Company is relatively resilient,able to respond quickly to the impact of the epidemic,and has strong supply chain resilience.(3)Under the trend of normalization of the epidemic,by studying the impact of the epidemic on the automobile supply chain,the problems and causes exposed by the automobile enterprises during the epidemic period were summarized,and targeted suggestions on the improvement of the supply chain resilience were put forward from the following five aspects:prediction ability,monitoring ability,response ability,recovery ability and learning ability.The research results can provide reference for automobile enterprises to improve supply chain toughness.
